I asked how much a first time prenatal appointment would cost so I could get in ASAP and just pay out of pocket. I was told it'd be around $200. During the appointment they did blood and various lab work that was sent to third parties. I paid my $200 thinking I was done but definitely not. That "$200 appointment" ultimately cost me about $950 out of pocket and there was nothing I could do to argue it. I just had to pay. I would've never agreed to the appointment if I had known. Without working in a doctors office or insurance company I had no idea this could happen. So I think someone should really explain to patients how billing works for the uninsured before proceeding with anything!! Other than that the office is friendly, responsive and again McCluskey is awesome!

The receptionist took me back instantly where I filled out only two pieces of paper! She then sent me back to the waiting room and a nurse came to get me within just a minute or so. The nurse got my history quickly (mostly because it was all within MyChart). Dr Shrestha then came in a couple minutes later to talk with me while I was still dressed. This was so nice! She then left and I was able to get into a cotton gown that made me feel covered instead of one of those large paper towels some other offices use. Everyone was friendly and professional. I felt at ease instantly, and my time and dignity were valued. I've already recommended this practice to others. Thanks for such a great experience!

Initially, I just had an odd feeling about the place and this was not where I wanted to receive the remainder of my care. Oddly, my husband & I received a bill in the mail from CompuNet (the lab where Lifestages sends all of their labs to be analyzed; urines, bloodwork, etc.) The bill outlined two very specific drug tests that were performed on my urine. This test was ordered by Leesa Kaufman. The two drug tests accumulated to $260.00. They did not notify me of these tests nor did I consent to them being done. The law states that any drug testing done during prenatal care must have consent of the patient.These tests are normally not covered by most insurance plans. After much back and forth with the Lifestage's office billing department, Leesa Kaufaman's nurse, & CompuNet, we still have no answers. The person who works in billing told me that Leesa has these urine's done on all of her patients and she does discuss it and asks for consent. This was neither discussed nor did she receive my consent. It's very unethical to take advantage of patients at such a delicate time. During my transfer of care to a new OBGYN, I learned that this is not a common practice & that their are certain laws that protect you against this kind of situation. What was done was completely illegal. I will be advising other pregnant women of this physician's general practice through multiple community oriented social media networks.

They are some of the kindest health care professionals I've ever met. Ive almost never had insurance during the last 10 years and they never cease to give me good advice about my health care when I do make a visit. I pay literally 1/3rd of the cost for my pills here than I would if I went to a family doctor WITH insurance and I'm able to get multiple packages at once. I always also get my monthly screening here and this is also a fraction of the cost in comparison to a family doctor. If it weren't for Planned Parenthood, I literally would have no affordable woman's health option available to me and I am very grateful for their services. Thank you so much!!!

After declining to do a specific test at 28 weeks, Dr. Jill Goff, became visibly enraged and while checking my baby's heart rate said some things that if recorded could have been investigated as misconduct. I am also, by the way, a woman of color. She admitted she was offended that I was undermining her "40 years of experience and professional degree" by not submitting to her advice and making an informed decision as an adult and a parent to decide what is best for myself and my family. This display of pride and control was jaw dropping. When explaining this to the office manager and another doctor who actually handles delivery, they maintained this same attitude that they know what's best for me and I must not care about my own health if I don't listen to them. The doctor justified Jill Goff's frustration by saying we are just trying to help patients and get emotional when they don't want to help themselves. Here's the thing: this is not out of care or concern, this is about control. If you cared for your patients at a human-level, you would speak to them respectfully and kindly at all times, even when you disagree. Just because I don't agree with certain medical practices does not mean I don't care about my health. Ultimately, I feel bad for these women who mistreated me and will be praying for them. This behavior is unacceptable, unhealthy, and it doesn't matter what level of degree you have, you are not the final say when it comes to life or death, God is. Also, be prepared for long waits at this office. Hope this helps someone before they waste their time and have to find a new provider in their third trimester like I am having to do!

I just realized that my review had been deleted…read more.. I went here in June of 2020 under a recommendation from a friend. My husband and I had been having difficulty concieving. I met with Dr Sharma and she recommended weight loss, and we ran some blood tests. The only positive thing to come out of this was to discover I had an auto immune thyroid disease...other than that they ended up having me come into the office and do a fasting glucose test due to suspicion. The lady called me back and with the order in her hand asked me how far along I was...I was not pregnant. Due to other appointments since this, I have learned I was MISDIAGNOSED as diabetic! So I changed everything I was doing, lost 80lbs and in January of 2021 I learned we were pregnant! I got a blood test to confirm with my PCP and then reported to Huey and Weprin where they had me repeat a blood test to confirm pregnancy instead of viewing the test my PCP had done. Well either way they said they weren't happy about my progesterone levels and started me on a supplement. No problem... At my second appointment I believe in February I was meeting with one of the MA and gave my urine sample. I had passed something into the toilet and it was bloody, they retrieved it and told me they were going to send it off to verify what it was and that it could be "a product of conception"...as we continued the appointment I did ask if we could do an ultrasound to see if my bean was still there and was informed that it was too early to see anything. This is what killed me, she then said she received a call from my prescription service asking about diabetic medicine (which I was not on) and asked me if I was diabetic and why I didn't say something...YOU GUYS WERE THE ONES WHO TOLD ME I WAS! I left the office scared for my pregnancy, and fuming angry over the diabetes "mix-up" 2 weeks later I had to call to ask if they had recieved the test results about ehat I had passed...they said they received it last week ...why was I never called?! In April I went in for my last appointment in this practice and saw Dr Sharma (finally) and I swear I had to chase her out of the room to ask her questions. She kept turning her back to me and gave me the bare minimum in terms of answers. I waited in the room for 45 minutes and she tried to leave in less than 5... After that I had had enough...I called and got changed over to a new practice and almost cried in relief after the first appointment. I learned SO much more about the entire thing in May (5months pregnant) than I got the whole time in Huey and Weprin for the first 4 months. Though when I went through my new OB to have everything sent over that took over a month because they would send over the shell of all the info they had...they sent over I had ABC testing done but never provided the results...wtf! I had to open my app that I got results to had share with my new doctor because Hiey and weprin was dragging their feet. Also at 5 months pregnant the new OB was shocked to learn I was still on progesterone...no one ever told me to stop taking it! ****0 STARS***** I've told everyone I know to never come here!
