Just Received a container of rexoseal and 5 rolls of seam fabric ( the fabric was made in the US )…read moreI LIKE THAT Started cleaning a rubber roof on a 1997 class C, that had been Black for a couple years.....to the extent that it stained the sides black - next unplanned project. Surface prep of the RV's was not too difficult and the product stuck quick & securely This stuff was easy to apply. Simply apply with a disposable paint brush, it goes on like thick paint They stated that it is best to apply when rain is not expected for at least 3 days Well, as luck would have it, it rained about 9 hours after I applied the 2nd coat. Fearing the worse, I checked the repairs a couple of days later and was surprised The seams were still in great condition I even did a classic Southern California type of speed it up, and get it done quick.....Application ..... I did just 3 wipes back and forth with a scotch pad, blew the dirt / dust away with a couple quick breaths and the applied 2 fast brush strokes of the rexoseal The laid an end of the fabric on the wet spot, tapped it into place and applied another 2 brush strokes ( remember it rained just a few hours later ) I went up to check the seams which appear to be very good and the 'hack job' test repair - I left about 5 inches of a fabric 'tail' which I could pull on, to see just how well it would actually hold to the poorly prepared surface The rexoseal held extremely tight, securely enough that the rubber membrane lifted when pulled and finally released with a snap Talk about amayzing results I'm ready to order enough rexoseal to complete the entire roof, Not just the seams Since sealing just 4 problem areas the leaks have stopped And I'm ready to repair the ceiling and wall that prior rains have damaged Customer is excited and wants to fix their RV and enjoy out again We have been repairing RVs for years, and do everything but rubber roofs Appears that May soon change Looks like We have a product that we feel good about, and will give our clients superior results and a fair price.
