I had a terrific experience with Lakeshore Roofing. Very professional, knowledgeable sales and customer service staff answered all my questions. They loaned me samples of shingle colours so I could make a choice that best matched my house. Super patient with me. Once I had made my decision, they arrived when they said they would and their team of installer were knowledgeable, professional, expert roof installers. They left zero mess behind when they were done. I have two dogs and it was super important that there not be any nails or shingles for the dogs to pick up. And three years of ice storms and high winds have not caused any shingles to fly away or any leaks. The roof is water-tight, beautiful, and just what I wanted. We were very impressed with Mr.Sal Bonvino when he came for inspection / estimate. He was respectful, knowledgeable , fully bilingual+ , excellent communication and extremely helpful. We closed the deal without hesitations, contract was clear and transparent. Sal made sure the team replaced our roof without delay. It was done professionally and efficiently. I have zero complain. We believe everything they used were high quality stuff. The clean up afterwords was 10/10. Last not least, Sal's went out of his way provided outstanding services. Salesman came by; walked around the house. It is a very steep roof and you can't see the actual condition from the ground. Left an estimate. No follow up to see if there were questions. Lousy customer service and when customer service starts poorly? It usually ends poorly. Thumbs down. As for the owner's comments? Furthers my assertion of lousy customer service. Let's address them, shall we? **************************************** We had an appointment which you did not honor, the reason we take appointments with our clients is to answer any and all questions they have right there and then therefore eliminating having to call back for a followup. An outright lie - not only did I leave work early to make the appointment, my mother was in our home all day. No one came to the door. We do not like calling and disturbing clients and asking for the sale...if they want to use our services they are welcome to call us with any questions at multiple phone #'s we provide. We have been serving our clients in this manner for the past 23 years and have never received a complaint. As for never receiving a complaint? I don't believe it. After our experience, we mentioned it to several people who all had the same opinion - lousy customer service. You did receive a free estimate immediately upon the visit. We are under the impression you might have not liked our price? and therefor felt the need to complain? Oh please. We had the roof done for approximately the same price. A little more because we requested an extra. We apologize for any inconvenience we might of caused. No inconvenience but no recommendations either and your comments do more to bolster my assertion of lousy customer service than anything I could have said. read more
