I finally get the hype! Dr. Erikson is SUPER knowledgeable and I literally felt and saw immediate results which was shocking. We all know shoulder injuries are complex because of all the muscles in the shoulders but he almost knew immediately what the issue was and made me laugh through the most painful parts (which was really minimal if I'm being honest). He also did an overall check and found that my back is also not in mint condition as I can see by one of my legs being shorter than the other. The way that he explained and showed what was going on and what he's trying to do made me feel so comfortable for my first adjustment. And about that massage... well the massage was DEEP - this is not your relaxing spa day but it is healing! Another thing I value about this office, aside from it being SUPER clean, is that they do not push you to spend your money. Yes, you have to pay for your treatment but there is no pressure to come more than you want to even if the Doctor recommends more. This makes me trust them even more so I'm happy to call Dr. Erikson my doctor that is going to see me through recovery! I can't wait to give an update once I'm further along in care. Thank you to Dr. Erikson and the entire team for the amazing experience!

He explained every detail as well as dispelled mysteries. My Mom was very comfortable communicating with him because he also spoke Mandarin. It has been a year since her surgery (5/2021) and she just had her 1 year follow up - clean, well-healed new hip. During the course leading up to the surgery, post surgery, his office team used multiple ways to check in on my Mom's pain and healing progress. Emails to the office were always promptly answered. My Mom was as staunch "no surgery" advocate. Refused to have surgery for years and met with multiple Specialist, therapists, and surgeon for her pain. Finally, after years of pain, she meets Dr. Yin and now can't stop talking about him. She recommends him to all her friends who is looking for an orthopedic surgeon. The original implant positioning was dramatically outside specifications--confirmed by imaging and the actual findings during revision surgery. Even worse, the measurements documented in the original operative report were contradicted by the actual imaging and surgical findings. This isn't speculation or opinion. It was proven by the surgeons who had to fix his work. Both hip components were put in incorrectly and needed replacement. He left me with a disaster that required major reconstructive surgery and a brutal recovery. Five years of pain because this doctor couldn't do the job correctly and couldn't accurately document what he had done. Incompetent, dishonest, and completely unacceptable. Stay away from this doctor.

A friend suggested I go to Orange County Orthopaedics and Sports Medical Group. Dr. Greenbaum diagnosed it as a torn supraspinatus (rotator cuff). He was very patient and took his time explaining in detail what was causing the pain and telling me about my options. When speaking with him about my particular situation, it quickly became evident he is highly experienced and very successful in helping people with these repairs. In retrospect, I wish I had not waited so long to get my shoulder fixed. The constant discomfort and disrupted sleep over the years was not necessary. While it did take effort on my part to take the necessary steps to protect and then rehabilitate my shoulder post surgery as directed by the doctor, I am 100% confident in my decision to use Dr. Greenbaum at Orange County Orthopaedics and Sports Medical Group.

The pain was hindering my daily life and was making it difficult to train for my Mount Whitney climb in August. I explained my pain to Angelina and Theresa and they developed a wholistic plan that centered on not only removing my pain, but enhancing my performance to make my Whitney climb as painless and easy as possible. Every session has been met with such friendliness and willingness to help me. I have been to several therapy clinics over the years for various things (knee, elbow) and I can confidently say the service I have received here has outpaced the other facilities, and I have nothing negative to say about those PT clinics, this staff just goes above and beyond every single day. Theresa and Angelia are knowledgeable and that is obvious on your first interaction with them. But what sets them apart is the level of friendliness and caring they share day in and day out. They are examples of what healthcare workers should be. They treat the PERSON, not the ailment. In addition to the care I have received on the table, the administrative care I have received is also worth mentioning. Daniela has been so patient and kind with me. I work from home and as a result sometimes I have last minute meetings and scheduling shifts. She has always been accommodating and does her best to meet my scheduling needs. And a friendly face right when you walk in is never a bad thing! As my Mount Whitney hike draws closer, I feel more prepared and confident than I would be without their help. PT has been something I have looked forward to over the last few months. I look forward to it not only because I am healing through movement, but because I am surrounded by a team of people who want to see me thrive. I recommend this facility, and this wonderful staff, to anyone who is looking for a place to work hard and to heal. Theresa and Angelina have made me believe that movement is medicine, if you come here I bet you'll believe that too! :)

Teresa was especially knowledgeable and took the time to really listen to what I was experiencing, while Connor and Angelina were always supportive, encouraging, and attentive during sessions. I always felt like the team genuinely cared about my recovery and progress. What I appreciated most was how personalized everything felt instead of being put through a generic routine. The exercises, hands-on treatment, and overall guidance were clearly tailored to what I needed, and I saw a very fast improvement in my shoulder recovery and mobility because of it. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone dealing with pain, injuries, or mobility issues and would definitely return again if needed.

Because I've gone to PT for this pain in the past, I had low expectations. That changed immediately! On the first visit my therapist, Kaitlyn Raymundo, did a thorough evaluation of my entire body, my alignment, walking posture, etc. which had never been done in the past. With her working and manipulating my body, plus the exercises she had me doing, I soon felt better. I'm am now at the end of my six weeks of PT and it's been life changing! My back pain creeps up occasionally, but by doing a simple exercise, they showed me, it goes away quickly. Being able to manage it in this way is so helpful! I highly recommend this practice. It's large, with quite a few therapists and many assistants, but they all work together nicely and are very organized. The energy in the room is very positive and it's fun to watch the other patients doing their exercises. BTW, I am 86 years old.

Just like other reviews. SHAME ON YOU, FRONT STAFF. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!…read more I work in healthcare myself, and I understand that mistakes happen. No one is perfect, myself included. But when a mistake inconveniences a patient or their family, the bare minimum is to acknowledge it, apologize sincerely, and make a reasonable effort to help. Is that really too much to ask? I scheduled an appointment for my parent well in advance and had been receiving confirmation messages, only for the office to cancel on the very day of the appointment due to an insurance issue. When I asked why this wasn't checked before scheduling and why I was only notified at the last minute, the front desk staff admitted it was their mistake and that they were accountable for it. I explained that I had already taken a day off work and asked if they could hold a slot while I obtained a new referral. I understood I was asking for a favor, but given that the issue resulted from their oversight, I hoped for some consideration. Instead, I was told, "I understand, but I can't do that for you." And started explaining how insurance works. Like.. ?lol Don't explain my own field to me like I don't know what I'm talking about. What bothered me most wasn't simply the cancellation. It was the complete lack of a sincere apology or empathy. She didn't even acknowledge that it was their mistake UNTIL I brought it up. And when I expressed my frustration, she told me she had already spoken to her supervisor about her mistake and that the supervisor had approved it. Okay... and? What exactly does that have to do with taking accountability? Having your supervisor's approval doesn't automatically make the situation right, nor does it excuse the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Accountability isn't just admitting fault when confronted. It's recognizing the impact of your mistake, apologizing, and making a reasonable effort to help. I understand that policies exist and that not every request can be accommodated. But even when the answer is no, there is a professional and compassionate way to communicate it. I wasn't asking for a miracle. I was asking for basic courtesy after your office's mistake cost me time and created an unnecessary obstacle to my parent's care. If this is what accountability looks like here, then congratulations. At least someone in this situation feels supported. Too bad it wasn't the patient!
