I would NEVER recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The management and maintenance here are…read moresome of the worst I've ever dealt with. The maintenance team repeatedly entered my unit without any notice or permission during my move-out process. They would just show up unannounced to "check" how far along I was with moving, which felt invasive and completely disrespectful of my privacy. Communication is basically nonexistent. It's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, and the only time they bother reaching out is to reprimand residents over minor issues. I called 10+ times about maintenance going into my unit when I wasn't home during my move out process and received no answer or call back even after speaking to two people in their home office who said they would personally reach out to the manager so she would contact me. The only time she reached out regarding this issue and left me a short, very unhelpful voicemail is when I was in the community standing with the maintenance man because he called her. There was constant issues with dog urine and feces being left in the elevator, parking garage, and other walk ways without being addressed. There were cops at the community almost weekly and sometimes multiple times a week with zero communication regarding if there were any safety issues that residents needed to the concerned about. Additionally, you can hear everything from the units around you. There were several incidents that would wake up me and my son at 5AM or late at night that management did the absolute least to address. On top of that, the rent is extremely overpriced for the level of management and service you actually receive. As a final insult, they kept almost my entire security deposit claiming they had to repaint the entire unit -- even though I left the apartment spotless and with no damage. This feels like a blatant money grab. There are so many more negative things I could add to this post about the community. The only positive is the location, that is it. I have moved to a much nicer apartment where the maintenance and management are amazing to work with and the rent is almost $1000.00 cheaper. The owners of this company and management need to do better and treat residents better. Save yourself the headache and rent ANYWHERE else but here. This place is not worth it.

I would not recommend this community. The price is not reflective of the market or the quality.read more

For those considering living in "Eagle Walk" aka Coastal Village…read more.. Don't. This place is a joke. I've been living here since August of 2024, had to renew my lease out of necessity and regret it almost every day. For reference, I have the "Premium" floorplan. My kitchen island is detached from the base and very wobbly, most of the outlets/switches are painted over entirely, my water pressure has always been terrible, the lower-wall trim doesn't even reach the floor, the list goes on. I pay $850 in rent but after all their fees and charges (usually random or unspecified) it comes to about $890 (not including utilities). This month I had to pay $905 due to the fact they forgot to charge one of their fees last month (no notice was ever given via email, call, text, ANYTHING). Their office staff is hardly ever helpful, always condescending, and never pick up the phones so good luck trying to get ahold of them. I went two weeks without Wi-Fi in September of 2024 and was fighting with the office everyday. I was always told to "Call SingleDigits", our Wi-Fi provider, and they would tell me to call my office. Nothing is ever communicated accurately or in a timely manner. Don't be fooled by their "rent specials" either. I renewed at the $850 I previously mentioned in February (had no other choice), but their more expensive/"upgraded" floor plans are going for $100-$150 less than what I pay now. I've asked them multiple times if there is any way I can have my rent lowered to match their specials but it's always a no despite being a loyal, well behaved tenant. I work two jobs to pay for this trashy apartment and still barely scratch by. If anyone from their management team reads this, do better. Greedy, careless, rude, and uncommunicative agents and management. Long story short, I do not recommend Eagle Walk to ANYONE. You're better off paying extra and staying at UV or The Reef. If you already live here and are stuck like me, I wish you the best of luck. P.S. If you do sign, good luck getting out of your lease, there's NO way to get rid of it unless you can find someone to fill your spot (and pay $500 in transfer fees, and if you got a bad rate for rent good luck! I've had none!) or pay the remainder of your lease (~$5,000 for me personally, but can vary depending on how bad they screw you over.

Beware of Eagle Walk Apartments / Coastal Village - Management Fails to Address Health Hazards…read more I have lived at Eagle Walk Apartments (Coastal Village) since July 2024, and have been dealing with severe, ongoing health hazards caused by my assigned roommate's unsanitary habits. This includes flea infestations from her pets, flies, cockroaches, waterbugs, ants, a strong odor of cat urine, rotting food in the refrigerator dating back months, raw meat left out on the counter in a ziplock bag, and dirty dishes and surfaces left uncleaned for days. I have provided management with photographs documenting these issues and have repeatedly reported them, including directly to Property Manager Nicole Behrens and Carpreit Property Management. Despite this, there has been no inspection, no remediation, and no transfer to a clean unit, despite my formal request. The conditions are so bad that I have to seal my door to block smells and bugs, and I cannot open it without risking pests entering my room. It is affecting my health, my ability to sleep, and my quality of life. This property might look fine from the outside, but management is unresponsive, and Carpreit Property Management has shown complete incompetence in handling legitimate health and safety concerns. I would not recommend Eagle Walk or Coastal Village to anyone who values a safe, clean, and professionally managed home.
