I've had extensive experience with both dry cleaners through work, personally as well as from feedback that friends have given me over the past few years and Magras wins on every front. Customer Service: The owner Diane rocks! I've had many special requests and tight time tables (one after the hurricane) and she made them all happen. She's also very easy to work with and will even do drop off and pick up services so you don't have to go into the location. Quality: I like my clothing back the same way I dropped it off. I've only had the experience consistently with Magras. Weird black stains, half missing buttons, shrunken clothing and discolored areas are not what I pay a dry cleaners to do and is what you'll get with the other dry cleaner. Magras also knows of how to treat mold on clothing with natural non harmful products to your clothing which was so helpful after the hurricane as we had a closet full of mold after our home was flooded due the the hurricanes. Pricing: It's comparable to the only other dry cleaner on island and if you're going to be paying for the service you might as well get your money's worth through quality and customer service. Location: Fortunately Magras is in the Tutu area which was one of the first areas to get water and power after the emergency/ essential buildings got powered up post hurricanes. The owner is also installing a mega generator so she's able to run the plant when the electricity company does rolling outages. We've never had a problem with parking here and it's a convenient area to swing by after grocery shopping and errands. We had…read moreto send out very very large packages internationally and even though this facility had its power knocked out by the hurricanes they found a way to run off of a small generator wired up with extension cords to things that needed power. The customer service rep that helped us was so kind and pleasant despite having to shout over a generator at times and struggling with the computer system. It was such an easy and fast transaction (unlike the post office post hurricane). The packages also made it to their destination at the quoted time. If you are on St. Thomas and need to send packages out, screw usps go to fed ex instead, since the hurricanes there is never anyone here, and there are loads of parking spots out back. If you don't have a po box anymore bc your post office was destroyed or lost your mailing address like we did have important mail sent here and held for in person pick up. #St.Thomas #USVI #FedEx

I got to experience a stubbornly stupid landlord lady, that scored a 10 on the richter scale of…read moredumb. She was basically in denial that our water system wasn't working. The system would go down and we wouldn't have water for 24-48 hours MULTIPLE times a week and despite videos sent over, this went on for three months and her responses were nasty like this problem was our fault. So after explaining everything to my co-workers whom surprisingly have gone through variations of this BS from their landlords (finding a good landlord on St. Thomas is hard), they told me to go here and get the cistern water tested to break out of our lease and report her to the department of health, which they have had to do. This process was surprisingly easy. All you do is call, set up an appointment, a tester will come for $65 and get a sample and you find out that there are all types of horrid things in your cistern (like feces and bacteria), especially if the cistern isn't being maintained which we had never seen our landlord drag her lazy bum over to do anything. You'll get the results in a few days and call to go over of what is found. The only thing that I didn't like is that we had to wait for testing because there is apparently a season during the summer time of when the analyst that examines the sample isn't in much. The building that the office is in is on the 2nd floor, it looks like it is from the sign that is on the first floor and I wandered all around the property looking for an entrance but its a stairwell on the right hand side of the parking lot. Keep this place in the pocket if your landlord goes down that retard road, which is where our landlord lady went. I would actually insist on testing upon moving into any new rental on this island. #St.Thomas #USVI

Water for homes out on St. Thomas work differently, there is no city plumbing. You have to rely on…read morerain water collected by your roof which drains into and sits in massive cisterns under your home (yuck!). 2017 prior to the hurricanes had been very dry for the island of St. Thomas and that is where Dadlies comes in. If you are running low on water you'll have to give them a call. They deliver any day of the week and will do next day service. Their trucks can hold 5000 gallons of water per run ( which can fill up a smaller cistern) and they are super reliable which is something you need a water company to be out here. Dadlies was also one of the first water hauling companies to start delivering post hurricanes and my husband has had good experiences with them for his company (all around from delivery, customer service, and the paperwork). A lot of trucks were taken out of service for different water delivery services in st. Thomas between the two hurricanes and the fleet of trucks Dadlies still has in service makes it very easy to get water quickly. #St.Thomas #USVI

I spoke with Carlos who knew immediately knew what I needed and yes, they had it in stock!
