So...after having a relatively nice stay...I noticed two weeks after my stay, there was still a lingering $430.70 charge on my Credit Card Statement. I won't go into great detail other than, It's been almost a week since ive tried contacting the hotel and after 5 attempt, I still have yet to get a call back from either Gustavo (Hotel Mgr) or Alejandro (who knows what title - Mgr). The front desk has been more than helpful, but their idiot management team has yet to call me back to clear up....their mistake. I was already billed for my stay, but these jackasses can't figure out how to dismiss this pre-authorized charge they put on my card, and mind you...without my consent. My Card, Citi bank told me that they can't cancel the charge until the Merchant releases it....or, after 30 days...lol...Unbelievable!!! Not Citi Banks fault...it's just their protocol. After 30 days, it's then disputed and the merchant will be charged some fee or whatever. I travel abroad monthly...and have never been treated like this...ever. Yes, yes...gold plated problem...I know...But these two jackasses are just inconsiderate, unprofessional morons.
I love Marriot and Hilton...hell, even the IHC across the street is nice. given the current state of management here, I would strongly NOT recommend this property to anyone. They are incredibly inept and what's worse, they can't even return a call to remedy, their mistake. Unbelievable.
