Booked for a quick one-night stay for an event I was attending in Austin. The quality of this hotel made me wish I was staying longer! The lobby was very spacious and bright. I appreciated that they had waters set out to serve yourself. There's a nice restaurant and bar that I wish I'd had time to try! The room was cool, clean, and comfortable. I really loved how comfortable the bed was. The staff at check in were very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again if I found myself back in the area and in need of a stay. read more

To be clear, I attended Giganticon here, held in the conference center. Which was pretty huge. The space was perfect for the small venue and the venue itself was amazing!!! I can't say with good things about this convention. I really hope they do it again next year. This year's convention revolved heavily around Ninja Turtles, with Kevin Clash and Saito, being among the guest celebrities, from the original TMNT movie in attendance. There were a couple other really famous voice actors from popular anime as well, like Blue Lock. Vendors galore!!! read more

Rooms are soooo quiet! No hallway or rude neighbor noises. Bedding was very comfortable and amenities were nice. We really like the expansive lobby and open food space. I ate breakfast there daily. The WiFi is SLOW. The rooms were nice and clean, I just hated the half shower door. You get water everywhere on the ground. The bistro downstairs offers a good selection of food. ~$18 for a crispy chicken sandwich ~$18 for the hot honey fried chicken sandwich Get the fries. I continue to like the Courtyard Pflugerville location. It is super convenient and the staff is always friendly and helpful. But keeping it real: there are aspects of the hotel that are getting a bit tired and could use some refreshing or updating. Cleaning, maintenance, etc. The lobby area still seems fresh and nice, but other areas could use some attention: rooms, bathrooms, outside furniture in the pool area. It appears that some things have not been touched since it opened in the Spring 2017 timeframe. read more

I have to say, this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience at a Marriot hotel. I specifically booked a room here because I love Marriot beds, but this was the opposite of what I was expecting. Marriot beds normally feel like you're sleeping on a cloud, but the bed I had felt like a piece of plywood. It also made a loud sound any time I rolled over. I also don't like their placement of the keurig. If you're short like I am, it's problematic. I had to move the ottoman over to stand on just to fill the keurig with water. I know this seems small, but it's worth mentioning as it was still inconvenient. We can't all be tall! My last complaint - because 2020 - is that no guests were wearing masks in the halls or elevator. All in all, I would not stay here again. read more

Stayed at this location for the weekend of my wedding! Overall, very clean hotel; lobby is so nice and smells wonderful! Hotel was a rather quiet (surprising because it was Memorial Day weekend, and there were several sports teams lodging for the weekend). Pros: Everything is aesthetically pleasing, new, modern. Cons: - One of the elevators was broken, so the other one ran very slow. Then in the early evening both were down. There was no sign that they were down and we stood there for a long time (staff did not say anything to us, as they could see us only a few feet away) A few minutes later, we turned around and saw groups of people going down a hallway into an office area. Decided to peer in and we saw that it led to a stairwell. I'm not mad that the elevator was down, just surprised we were just led to investigate ways to get to our room. -Last con, the rooms were very small. In all honesty, maybe the smallest I've ever been in. Overall, if you need just a quick place to rest your head, while feeling safe and in a modern hotel; this might be your spot! read more

Stayed May 7-9 & May 14-16 I was psyched to stay at this hotel but with a disappointing check in during both of my stays I won't be returning. The hotel is beautiful, the amenities are phenomenal and the room is perfection and don't get me started on the shower but unfortunately the staff tanked at the most basic task during both stays. At my first check in I was greeted by a very uninterested Rachel who greeted me with "checking in?". I said yes and handed her my ID and credit card, she slid them back and gave me my room key. That was it, no hotel info, have a nice day or even a smile. I travel full time and tend to use Marriott often but this was disappointing . I loved the location and pool so I booked another stay with a friend. The check in experience was the same so I guess this is their "Marriott Standard". This was a nice surprise. Normally we do not stay at Courtyards as we prefer another brand. However this place definitely stood out as a go to spot for the area for us. We had to be in Pflugerville for an appointment and therefore we did not want to drive back in the late afternoon traffic. It was a wise choice. The hotel is located near a major highway, but there was nothing but quiet in the room. We were greeted promptly in a very nice lobby and up to the room we go. USB ports were numerous as well a as nice performing wi-fi. It was modern, spotless and fit the bill perfectly. Downstairs they have a nice little bar and also during specific time a bistro setup where you can just stay in the hotel and chill. However, within 2-3 miles there are several food choices. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. Well done. read more

My husband and I were visiting Pflugerville Texas and saw this "Gorgeous" Marriott Courtyard hotel off of Pecan and 130 Tollway. Unfortunately, we had some issues at the hotel we were staying at and decided to try this Marriott Hotel. Let me say, the name speaks for itself. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew this was where we needed to be. We arrived after midnight but we had already spoken with Ronetta, who was working the front desk. She was so helpful and polite. The room was modern and exquisite. There was plenty of storage space for your folding and hanging clothes. The odd (a good thing) shaped sofa bed was comfortable to sit on while we watched television and the king size bed was wonderful. I will never stay here again if I come back to Austin ... Booked 2 nights and had a family emergency that meant I could only stay one night. When I check out and try to explain my situation, I'm told they cannot refund my credit card for the second night. The only option they give me is to have a night's credit to stay at the same hotel sometime in the future! As a Silver elite Marriott customer, why would I return to this hotel when the service is so poor? read more

I'm not sure I would stay at a Marriott again... they called the cops on us for hanging out and cooking by our car, turned out to be a great time hanging out with them but that's beside the point. First, I want to note that I have only written one previous review regarding a bad experience I had with a restaurant... so a positive review is new to me. So here we go... From 2/15/2021 to 2/18/2021 Central Texas (and nearly all of Texas) experienced a black out due to winter storms that resulted in both dangerous ice and snow. No power, no water and very limited resources throughout the greater Austin area. My wife and I came to the Marriott in hopes that we could find a place warmer than our home. Phones were down so we drove to the hotel as a last resort in thinking that we could secure a room. Even with an under-staffed hotel, we were eventually able to book a room. When I say understaffed, I mean that there was one front desk employee (Austin), one chef, one housekeeper, one bartender/waitress and the hotel manager (who stayed at the hotel working 16 hour days the entire time).Though there was no power or water for the first day and a half, the staff went to extreme measures to ensure that we were taken care of. The front desk made sure that we had what we needed - blankets, snacks, room for our pets and enough beds for all of us to feel comfortable. On the night of our arrival, the chef (and only employee on kitchen staff) managed to whip up burgers for every guest which were then given to us free of charge. This could be credited to the back up generators that they were able to use for the first floor. From then on, we were able to eat hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner all the way to moment we checked out. In a time of craziness, the staff, though few in numbers, made our stay a full hospitable experience. While so many went without warmth, water for the toilets (which we were given buckets of pool water to use for flushing...very creative) and food, we were able to live comfortably. It was not long before we slowly had luxuries return. First we had power, next we had WiFi (which I will say was great given that the hotel offers awesome features such as Netflix, HBO, etc at no cost) and finally we had water. Not to mention we had a full service bar run by only one employee... taking both drink orders and food orders working with only the food, liquor and beer that was in stock. We were served everything from chili and breakfast sandwiches to Cesar salad with grilled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. We were living the good life. For some who, I think expectations were very high... given the circumstances, we were treated more than well. This being said, I have referred this hotel to family members in the past who have had wonderful experiences with this hotel operating at full capacity. I have also used the hotel while my house underwent 3 months of construction. A test to hospitality would always be consistency- that which they have provided. Whether the hotel is fired up and fully staffed or in the middle of a COVID ridden pandemic alongside a weather crisis, the Marriott in Pflugerville is the RIGHT and ONLY place you should consider when looking for a place to lay your head. 10 stars is not an option, so 5 is the best I can rate this great establishment. Kudos to the staff, and those who's names I didn't get, for doing a great job day-in and day-out for a week we will never forget. read more

Bad service, they will wake you up at 7:50 am to clean your room regardless you use the do not disturb signs or not. Housekeeping rude and don't speak English. Please stay away if tour tired and need some rest. Manager dont care and he's just as rude. read more

I'm pleasantly surprised with this hotel, and the surprises keep coming! I attended an Event at the hotel in early November, celebrating their opening. I had the opportunity through that event to check out the Ballrooms (almost all air walls had been opened so we had the use for almost all of...I think it was called the Travis? Ballroom. Snacks were circulated and a bar was available for a while. I don't drink very much, but I did splurge to try out two drinks a bartender had created for this "Speakeasy event" and my husband tried out a whiskey one-sorry, THAT one I passed HOWEVER his review was Likely not top shelf but close! I am Gold Elite...have been too long...and getting spoiled. As a result I'm getting too used to certain "things" being done before my arrival. I have a detailed profile (I'm allergic to feathers) and the hotels don't miss. However I knew they would be swamped, I was able to bring My Own Pillow (v important) so I told them dont worry-BUT as I was 1-evaluating the hotel for a conference and 2-my husband and I were attempting to have a weekend away for a late anniversary celebration, I did want a QUIET ROOM. As the hotel is located next to soccer fields and Select Teams we're staying throughout the hotel, for the entire weekend...I'm not too sure anything would have been quiet. The room was lovely, both of us had to (gasp) work, and loved the fact that everywhere we turned, a USB and AC plug could be found. Sorry, for two techies that adds to the ambience At least for a while. The desk underneath the TV was on rollers-so when I couldn't quite get my cords arranged how I wanted, I rolled it out, fixed it, and rolled the desk back against the wall. If you need to rest and work-this is the best. We did not eat any other meals in the Hotel Restaurant other than Breakfast-however it was a lovely Very Extensive Buffet. I was able to fill up on it and just do an early dinner. We brought various thingsfor our fridge, and the room Keurig let me fix coffee, added with a protein drink-one of my favorite "easy bigger snacks/small meal items". I took tons of pictures because I REMEMBERED to do so before the room was messed up, and also pics of the rest of the hotel. Only 4 stars because I want to return and FIND that quieter room. Otherwise a wonderful stay-each though our staycation was interrupted with a touch of work. Will I be able to schedule my event here? We shall see. For now, Please Enjoy the hotel room (king with pull out sofa bed) and Bistro pics-I don't have time right now to annotate all of them. Ballroom & general hotel pics will be posted later! read more

A little disappointed because we had booked to stay with our company and team members well in advance. Come to find out, upon arrival that our hotel was overbooked and we couldn't stay with the rest of our team. Manager did do his best and sent us to Best Western and provided us with complimentary meal tickets. I'm glad we ended up staying at BW because they provided such great service and so comfortable! Was looking forward to Staying with the rest of my company team members but it just didn't happen. Really should try to fix this overbooking issue! read more

The Marriot staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. The accommodations were excellent in giving us all the room we needed to prepare for our daughters wedding. The food was outstanding all the way from the appetizers to the main course the chef was five star in our opinion he listened to what we had wanted for our guests and exceeded expectations. Even to the point of preparing a special meal for the grooms father. We could not have asked for more from the planners and hotel staff n making our guests feel well taken care of read more

Stayed here last week and only a couple of complaints. First, guest rooms are HOT! We had to go to the main desk a few times to complain. Room would reach 79-80 degrees, in the Texas heat... It was miserable. Wouldn't cool off even when time for bed, me and my nieces had to sleep with sheets. Also the housekeeping, they wouldn't throw out trash, make beds, leave extra toilet paper, I had to leave a note on the counter to leave towels. Nice hotel and friendly but those were big ones for us. Would stay somewhere else next time. read more

This is an annual fundraiser, and while the fundraiser was a success, the experience wasn't. This was an event that took months and months to plan. It was obvious that they were short staffed and under prepared for the 500 attendees. First of all, there were only 2 stations set up for beverages. They did not have a backup for Cabernet wine. Their comment was, " we just ran out, sorry". The steak's that were served, were not the most tender to put is lightly. The servers did not frequent the table to refresh the tea or water on the. There were coffee cups on the table, however none was offered. After the dinner, when the fundraiser began, the dinner plates were never removed from the table. Very glad we stayed here. Clean and our room still had that "new"smell. All nonsmoking. Large room with desk, couch and large walk in shower. We asked for quiet and they accommodated us. Never heard a thing the two nights we were there. Free and ample parking. It's in an industrial park so very quiet. Sits right next to the turnpike so easily got to the other side of Austin in 20 minutes. Reasonable prices and close enough to all the sights in Austin without the high priced rooms. read more

My family and I stayed here for about a week while our home is being painted and renovated. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and genuinely wanting to make your stay enjoyable. I don't often leave a review but feel that this needed to be recorded. I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions over the last 2 years or so and have never seen an establishment decline so rapidly. I can only assume that is is under new management as the quality of service, cleanliness, and atmosphere as a whole has changed. I did not recognize the current General Manager or indeed most of the staff, in fact I did not recognize many people at all. I would not hold another event here or want to stay again which is a shame it used to be a really nice, clean, and friendly place for business and leisure. read more

I was very disappointed that Tea was not supplied in the rooms or a microwave unless requested ahead of time. The refrigerator in the room is not a true refrigerator it will just keep sodas chilled. The room is clean and set up very well so that it is easy to get around. The pull out bed on the couch was comfortable to sleep on. They do not supply a buffet breakfast. I have stayed in hotels that have been given more personal friendly service then I have received during my stay. read more

This hotel is beautifully designed and has all the amenities you couldn't ask for more in this small town outside of Austin. However, our experience with this hotel last night Saturday (3/13/2020) was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. We stayed on the 3rd level and was immediately awake at 2am by loud voices, jumping, and dropping heavy things on the floor above us. My husband went up to the 4th floor to speak to the young hispanic kids about the noise but no one ever answered the door. So I told him to just call guest services because it was beyond crazy and loud. Guest services told us she would call them and speak with them. The noises and banging became even worst to the point we had to call the police. Hotel management didn't do a thing to help solve the noise issue. I feel sorry for the room next four to them. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. This PLACE WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDED TO ANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS. I am definitely going to write a letter to Corporate about this hotel and their management services. read more

Interesting set up in lobby, not one employee recognized we needed assistance at bar....very unprofessional, I went to ask what types of bottled beers they offered, employee proceeded to open fridge and then walked away, didn't even offer recommendations...my wife asked where the bathroom was located, again no proper directions, or considerations were given, employees had "robotic attitudes"...while we were trying to enjoy our drinks, one of the employees started wiping our table, suggesting we be done in 10 mins, and asked if we "wanted anything"....another turn off, we left in sheer disappointment, did not bother to book a room/ask for availability, but at least the front desk gentleman showed "signs of life" and was somewhat polite....do not recommend this establishment read more

This has been has not been the best experience among all the Marriotts that I stay at. Upon checking in, my reservation could not be located right away. The front desk clerk had to call someone else in order for me to check in. Not sure what that was about. I had my service dog in a carrier and at no appoint of time been asked about if she was a service dog. Went the entire day at an event at this location which had been over 8 hours of my stay until I had been approached if she was a service dog. The manager had bee lined to flag me down to continue to ask me further questions after the front desk clerk had already questioned me. I was annoyed that the focus of me having a service dog was the scope of topic. He kept assisting that a service label needs to be on the dog. I clarified his misconception on that point of view. It was apparent that he had not been trained correctly on the ADA laws about service dog. When I bring this to his attention he wants to further discuss that he has to question this and something in writing needs to take be provided. I had showed him a copy of my official physician letter on stating that I have been provided a service dog. He questioned why this letter was not on file. I explained to him that it was my right to just show the letter but do not have to provide a copy especially since due to the Privacy Act information on my medical conditions. I tried my best to keep my composer due to this entire situation not being deliveried or handled in a professional matter. My advice before a huge lawsuit gets placed on this establishment especially since its privately owned, that understanding and compassion needs to be presented before another situation like this takes place especially since I am a disabled veteran. A little respect should be shown and desire to be treated like anyone else who wants to stay a night at any hotel of their choosing. read more
