I'm reviewing this from the perspective of a German Shepherd owner. Max came with me on this trip because this location is VERY dog friendly! If you're bringing your dog, you will want to stay here. Decent area to walk your dog, other dog owners staying here, decent staircase if you want to avoid awkward elevator convos about your dog, you know what I mean right? Not here. I felt comfortable leaving Max for awhile to grab some breakfast. Anyhow I will definitely back so don't take all the rooms fellow dog owners lol! 5/5 all the way. Also as others noted the location is super convenient!

I stayed here on a business trip for my job. Since they did all the arrangements, I'm unable to talk about the reservation process. Once there, however there apparently was an issue where the card where the reservation was made had to be present for me to be able to check in... though the hotel staff was more than kind and efficiently solved all through a call to my manager. The room was very nicely decorated with sculptures and paintings, everything was clean and comfortable, with a microwave, a mini fridge and a desk to work in. Service was also courteous and amicable. The included breakfast was a full warm breakfast. Not the best in history, but pretty good all the same. My only complaint is that the coffee was terrible, but that's a minor nitpick.

    Light fixture left on stairwell.

Nothing special here. It is an older property that they have renovated so it still shows its age regardless. Housekeeping was a real problem for us. Not enough towels (only 2 in a suite that sleeps 6). We had 2 suites- same problem in both - including only 2 glasses, 2 cups, etc. Customer service lacking as well. I had asked to pay cash for my stay and regardless they charged my credit card. Doors propped open with a towel and a light fixture on the stairwell. These are easy fixes if they were paying attention.look for a newer property.

This hotel is definitely below the quality of what I'm used to but does have some perks. Pros: Giant spacious lobby Lots of dining: Morton's steakhouse, SHOR seafood, Tavern and a 24/7 market all on the premises Great location Good views of the riverfront (depends on room) Beds are very very comfortable Cons: Inconsistent customer service. I got some amazing customer service from some of the maintenance workers and one of the desk clerks, but some of the front desk people can be rude and unhelpful. Definitely a mixed bag. The rooms are very dated. The first room I checked into had a broken shower and broken ac. The hotel was accommodating in upgrading me but this was after I was hung up on during a bunch of unnecessary phone transferring and a rude conversation with the front desk attendee. Ac is only so so. One room I was in originally it didn't work at all and the next room it worked but didn't get very cold and I couldn't feel the air moving. Overall I was happy to be close to the stadium for the gator bowl but in general I would likely seek alternative accommodation before staying here again.

Easy access to the water taxi for other events was definitely an added plus. The DoubleTree Riverfront hotel deserves a 10++ for everything they did! The hotel staff was amazing and every single person went above and beyond, and directly aided the reason for the reunion's success, and we do mean every single person! Sara, the sales professional was extremely responsive, easy to work with and connected us to the right people to work with. Apollo managed the banquet room, and he knows the event business. He was directly responsible for all the interworking's of our large banquet, technical requirements and success of the banquet. His help in the PA/sound system and up-lighting was instrumental in making the event a success! He even created a custom menu for our attendees to review prior to entering the buffet. Last minute requests?...No problem! Judy made the buffet dinner run flawlessly. She released all the tables in systematic order getting everyone through the line in record time. The dinner was served on time and it was great! Hat's off to the chef and team! We had some ADA veterans and those who had a little more difficult time moving, so Judy had the staff serve the dessert, a very honorable and much appreciative gesture on her part. We couldn't thank her enough! Kevin, Joe, Troy, Michele plus the bartender were outstanding in flipping the room for the banquet and setting up the room's tables and chair covers. All had amazing attitudes and took care of every detail requested. Ezzy and her staff in the breakfast room simply excelled in their service. They made us all feel so welcomed and the food was very good. We talked to several attendees at the banquet and a common theme was how extraordinary all the hotel staff (and I mean all) was, hands down great. A big thank you to everyone and DoubleTree family!!!

The reviews list it as a 4star hotel. It is really giving 2 star motel. The room was very antiquated. The 1970s arm chair was stained and filthy. It looked like a thrift store purchase. The carpet could stand to be shampooed or replaced. The room was not equipped with a microwave or mini fridge. They had vending machines on each floor that contain nothing but sold out pop and and an ice machine. In the lobby was a snack area where a bag of small size doritos were 6.00. I had no hot water my entire stay. It was very noisy. All night long you could hear the heavy old fashion doors slam. The heater in my room smelled like a hair blow dryer that was about to give out. It was also very loud and took a long time to heat the space. Parking is also a little expensive $30 a day to self park. Considering it is attached to the hotel you would think this would be complimentary to your stay. Staff was very pleasant. The lobby decor was ok and the view was nice. Those are the only compliments I can give. I enjoy The Hilton portfolio but would NEVER stay at this location again. I just expected more from a 4-star hotel. P.s. I am waiting to see if I actually receive a 3 day voucher from corporate in the mail as they promised.

The Inn is located in a nice area of Riverside and is close to restaurants and museums, as well as the water. The Inn also has a bar on the first floor, as well as a good size dining room for daily breakfast. The menu offered about 5 or 6 options. We both went with the vegetable cheese omelettes and they were the best omelettes we have ever had. There was also a cute little outdoor patio adjacent to the second floor common area. This is a renovated classic structure, offering a great combination of old school charm with modern necessities. In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast served with a smile. There's plenty of parking, and they even have electric vehicle chargers in the parking lot. I did take a very short walk to the waterfront. Overall, great rooms, friendly people, and the traditional bed and breakfast experience.

Every morning we came down for the complimentary breakfast and I must say, they have a good variety of breakfast options. Most importantly, the staff were friendly which is rare when it comes to complimentary breakfast attendants. I noticed an excellent detail by the elevators on our hallway, the hotel provided a trash can, a recycling bin for paper, a bin for can recycling, but they did not provide a can to recycle plastic. That would be great to have. The surface light bulb in the kitchen was out. One of the pots was clean but with dirty dry stains of food on it. We filled out a list for the grocery services and after 6 or 8 hours, the front desk told us they weren't going to be able to get groceries for us. It's ok.
