Especially soccer. This particular Home2Suites is a favorite for families and the teams. It gets crowded and hectic on the weekends Breakfast can be a challenge to obtain. After working your way through the toddlers, kids dragging blankets and the hordes of players, you arrive at the breakfast bar to find it ravaged, stripped bare as if attacked by a swarm of locusts. The OJ dispenser is empty. The only protein left is a mangled egg patty. All of the fresh fruit is gone. Trails of waffle batter on the counter confirm the most popular breakfast item. The effort to procure breakfast, a failure. Back to the room to Google the location of the nearest coffee shop. There was only one poor over worked lady on duty this morning. The hotel should be anticipating the crowd, staff up and be better prepared.

We sit down for the "buffet" get our waters and orders our drinks and order the omelet and the waffle from our waiter - mind you it hasn't got crowded yet- it took 30 minutes for my sister to get her waffle and omelet but mind never came- I was told that the PO system went out and it canceled my order but how is that? I never got my drink as well. I did talk with the manager and shared my experience and also made a few suggestions because I wasn't the only one who had the same experiences. 1. Make sure staff is trained and capable of serving the customer. 2. Hire enough staff to make sure things flow well. 3. The pool area was good and our server was super helpful the afternoon we were there. The bad....we checked into our adjoining rooms and they both had this weird smoke smell. We asked to be moved but they couldn't move us to different rooms. Someone came in and sprayed some air freshener instead. One of the adjoining doors was broken and wouldn't stay open so maintenance had to come fix that. The closet doors also would not close all the way so the light stayed on all night. The room was damp. When you woke up in the morning, everything and I mean everything, was cold and damp. Even my shoes. The duvets seemed like they hadn't been replaced since they opened. They were paper thin and all the feathers were clumped together and uncomfortable. On Friday and Saturday night they had a bar and snacks out, but once everyone checked out on Sunday it was like a ghost town. Sunday night there was no bartender at the bar, no snacks out and no water in the lobby. For the price I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. I only gave it 3 stars because of the staff.

The Atmosphere & Unique Daily Themes One of the coolest features of this hotel is the daily theme hosted in the lobby: Day 1: A complimentary snack cart stocked with chips, candy, and water. Day 2: A fun trail mix station. A bourbon and burger event offered at a very reasonable cost. On our second day, we interacted with Rashad, who was also the absolute epitome of customer service. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms are incredibly large, spacious, and well-designed. Our room faced the mini-field at The Star adjacent to the hotel. Jackson was filming a spinoff of Tulsa King right when we arrived! It was the most relaxing 12/26 I've ever spent. Im SMH in the lighting layout in the room. At night the only light you can use to make it to the rest room is the super bright bathroom light itself. I want to bring special attention to the breakfast and the "Happiness Hour". Every day the hotel serves an amazing breakfast. Eggs, bacon or sausage, tater tots, DIY waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, etc. It's a regular cafeteria here. But what makes it all work is the staff. While the property itself is beautiful, the reality of a weekend stay was very different. The pool and hot tub were absolutely packed with kids splashing and jumping in, which completely took away from a relaxing atmosphere. To add to that, the walls seemed a bit thin - the room next to us was extremely loud throughout our stay, which made it hard to unwind. Additionally, the spa is very nice but quite small. It only has a steam room. That being said, the rest of our experience was wonderful. The rooms themselves are beautiful and clean, the gym is excellent, and the staff is absolutely exceptional! They made me feel incredibly welcome for my birthday. I'd give them 5 stars for service, but a 4 overall due to the chaotic pool experience and the noise. Bonus: they are pet friendly and have a little table with dog treats at the front.
