Coffee area, but all trash cans looked like this downstairs and at least the 2nd floor elevator.

Terrible! Don't even think about it. I will preface 1 worker was really nice and helped with moving our first room (dirty, tv didn't work, no hot water, window shades broke, literally a clump of hair stuck to the ceiling and probably missing something). Only 1 working elevator. Breakfast ran out super early. The lady hollered to the whole breakfast area (from the front desk), "don't come up here with any more issues. We don't have any management here and nobody running breakfast. It is what it is. Also, the trash cans are overflowing and I can't get to it" this was about 8:30am with at least 1hr to go.

We stay here about 2-3 times a year. It's easy access to get in and out. The rooms are small but always clean and we just stay there to sleep anyways. I love you can do everything through the mobile app. Water stations to fill up water bottles, small gym but has basic equipment, showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash... overall, everything you need for small stays. Reason for 3 stars: They DO offer free breakfast which is a reason we stay here but it's nothing like in the photo and if you get there any later than 8:30, they tend to run out of a lot of things and don't restock. It's a basic breakfast, cereals, yogurts, mini pancakes, toast and some proteins. I was really excited for pancakes like pictures to discover they weren't really a thing. Also, to note, this hotel is right near Top Golf. If you're on that side of the hotel, expect to hear loud music until about 10-11pm. Overall it's a good place to stay and we don't need much when we go so it works for us and we will keep coming back.

The location is amazing and super convenient. It's close to shops, malls, restaurants, and pretty much everything we needed. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and having a full kitchen in the room made everything so much easier. Our room had a microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, desk, bed, couch, and TV, so we had plenty of space and all the conveniences of home. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. They also have an outdoor pool, which was perfect for cooling off in the Texas heat, as well as a small gym, which was a nice added touch. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The front desk lady was so helpful, and I especially want to mention the lady who takes care of breakfast. I wish I had gotten their names! She was seriously the sweetest and was constantly making sure everything was stocked, clean, and ready for everyone. And speaking of breakfast, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was! It's complimentary, and compared to other hotel breakfasts we've had, this one was actually really good. They had so many options cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, different juice choices, bacon, eggs, sausage, egg bites, and even a yogurt bar and waffle bar where you could make your own. The thick, fresh-made waffles were our favorite! We loved having them with the strawberry sauce, whipped cream, and sliced almonds. So good! They also had complimentary coffee and tea available for guests all day long, which was really nice. Any parent knows this was a lifesaver! Overall, we had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location, room setup, cleanliness, breakfast, and especially the staff made this a great experience for our family. We would absolutely stay here again when we're back in the area!

Let me reshare the experience from the beginning - let's take it from there and then I'll address breakfast. Check in was great - quick fast and pleasant and the beds slept amazing not a sound you could hear outside of our.rooms. The swimming pool was very relaxing and a great scenic view! Being connected to the Mall is a girls dream! lol shopping and stores oh my!! The bar was a touch to the night! A snack before bed. But to rise for breakfast and have the worst experience was not good. We sit down for the "buffet" get our waters and orders our drinks and order the omelet and the waffle from our waiter - mind you it hasn't got crowded yet- it took 30 minutes for my sister to get her waffle and omelet but mind never came- I was told that the PO system went out and it canceled my order but how is that? I never got my drink as well. I did talk with the manager and shared my experience and also made a few suggestions because I wasn't the only one who had the same experiences. 1. Make sure staff is trained and capable of serving the customer. 2. Hire enough staff to make sure things flow well. 3. Don't let food sit under the light too long I saw food sitting for more than. 10 minutes Outside of the breakfast experience I enjoyed my time spent but when you're paying over $200 for a room - make sure the breakfast creates an atmosphere to want to come back.

The pool area was good and our server was super helpful the afternoon we were there. The bad....we checked into our adjoining rooms and they both had this weird smoke smell. We asked to be moved but they couldn't move us to different rooms. Someone came in and sprayed some air freshener instead. One of the adjoining doors was broken and wouldn't stay open so maintenance had to come fix that. The closet doors also would not close all the way so the light stayed on all night. The room was damp. When you woke up in the morning, everything and I mean everything, was cold and damp. Even my shoes. The duvets seemed like they hadn't been replaced since they opened. They were paper thin and all the feathers were clumped together and uncomfortable. On Friday and Saturday night they had a bar and snacks out, but once everyone checked out on Sunday it was like a ghost town. Sunday night there was no bartender at the bar, no snacks out and no water in the lobby. For the price I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. I only gave it 3 stars because of the staff.

I thought we had to settle based on those attributes, however, it was not settling at all. This was a great hotel. I'm so grateful they were able to accommodate our group at a fantastic rate. I believe this was the first Embassy Suites I have stayed at. It was very nice. The welcome / check-in area was very interesting, it was a few high tables versus the typically large long desk. I thought this was creative, as it allowed for more flexibility with the space for drink coolers and more room for guests to move around. The lobby was buzzing with people comfortably working in the seating area and going in and out of the restaurant and the Starbucks. There is everything you need in order to start your day. They provided me with a breakfast coupon to start my day (too bad I don't eat breakfast that early) and a drink coupon for the hotel reception at night (too bad, I don't drink nor socialize at the end of my day LOL). They were nice offerings nonetheless. There is hotel transportation for use within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Which could be useful for local office visits. We didn't use the service. There is parking you can pay for, at the time of my visit it was $22 per day, whether you parked outside or in the parking garage. There was a lot of parking in the garage, it's a little tight if you have a truck or a full-size SUV. My room was on the second floor which was great, because I could walk up the lobby staircase vs. taking the elevator. The room was very clean and very spacious. As I first walked in there is a living room space and a work desk. There was a couch, ottoman, TV on a dresser and a wet bar with drawers, safe, refrigerator and a microwave. Across from the wet bar is the bathroom. Standard bathroom no fancy technology. At the back of the suite was the bedroom, that had a door to close off from the rest of the suite. It was very spacious with the king size bed, another large TV on a dresser and next to that was a desk and chair. Lots of space to work which is great. The view...not great...smudgy windows and from what I could see, it was just city street. Regarding "fancy technology" - I loved the fact that I can control the TV from my phone app. I didn't have to touch the remotes. Loved that! And the app controled both TVs in the room. Another reason to get the app and be a loyalty member. Staff - SO NICE!!! They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It felt like I was with family. I would definitely recommend this business. I would absolutely stay here again if I am in the area - close to the offices and a lot of delicious restaurant options.

Rooms are extremely clean, beds are comfortable, more than enough wall outlets to charge your phone or use your CPAP machine. My wife and us stayed here in 12/26, the day after Christmas. We were so tired after all the holiday prep that we stayed an extra day just to rest. Rest we did. OMG, the room was perfect. Hung the sign on the door and we hibernated like brown bears. It was the most relaxing 12/26 I've ever spent. Im SMH in the lighting layout in the room. At night the only light you can use to make it to the rest room is the super bright bathroom light itself. I want to bring special attention to the breakfast and the "Happiness Hour". Every day the hotel serves an amazing breakfast. Eggs, bacon or sausage, tater tots, DIY waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, etc. It's a regular cafeteria here. But what makes it all work is the staff. The manager comes out and greets everyone. I mean everyone, the guest, the staff, she helps clear tables, checks food levels, makes sure the guests are comfortable. Rooms appeared a little more dated but that's not terrible. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable and shower felt good. Mini fridge is MINI-MINI so we left everything in the cooler instead. We were excited to have an indoor pool... unfortunately, it was OVERRUN with kids. There weren't any pool chairs and there had to be 20 people squeezed into the hot tub alone. We walked in, walked back out. The veranda on the same floor was nice, expect for people smoking out there. It was choking us. Blah. "People still smoke??" Then there's breakfast... pretty much every Drury we have stayed at made fresh scrambled eggs as opposed to the weirdly textured "hotel eggs"... not this one. They don't make fresh eggs on a flat top. The sausage was hard and dry. I did't eat. Coffee was ok. We missed dinner but it's usually like 5:30-7 and we normally enjoy it. Menu rotates. The dining area seemed to have a decent amount of seating but it's pretty tight. Lucky for us, the some kid squished in next to us kept sucking in their snot instead of blowing their nose. Always pleasant sounds when people are trying to eat. Bonus, his brother sneezed in our direction without covering his nose. All in all, a decent place to sleep but didn't get to enjoy all the perks of Drury.

While the property itself is beautiful, the reality of a weekend stay was very different. The pool and hot tub were absolutely packed with kids splashing and jumping in, which completely took away from a relaxing atmosphere. To add to that, the walls seemed a bit thin - the room next to us was extremely loud throughout our stay, which made it hard to unwind. Additionally, the spa is very nice but quite small. It only has a steam room. That being said, the rest of our experience was wonderful. The rooms themselves are beautiful and clean, the gym is excellent, and the staff is absolutely exceptional! The main reasons for the three star rating are the check in process and my room. It took an hour and a half for me to get my keys because someone either hadn't booked my room or booked it incorrectly. After a long day of travel, I wanted to rest, freshen up, and eat, but I had no such luck. It really put a damper on my day. Secondly, once I got to the room, I had other issues. It smelled incredibly musty and I knew it was because the carpets needed cleaning. Some parts of the floor felt stiffer than others, indicating that something was spilled on them. I was so hungry and was actually willing to pay for minibar snacks, but there weren't any (no drinks either except for water). I was also hoping for a more generous bathroom setup as well (makeup wipes, etc.). The water pressure in the shower was a bit too low as well. On the plus side, this hotel is within walking distance of many great restaurants and shopping. This experience wasn't the best, but they are typically a solid choice.
