Used lotion upon my arrival
Deanna L.

The room is spacious, coffee or tea is available in the morning and the beds are comfy. Most of my stays have been decent, but I ran into an issue with the toilet seat being loose, and the shower handle not fully attached. Needed some getting used to in order to get the right water temperature. Upon my arrival, I also found a used bottle of lotion so it makes me wonder how thorough the housekeeper does their job. Asides from these flaws during my visit this time, I stayed here over a dozen weeks in the past four years and my stay has been decent each time. Courtyard Burlington Harbor has its own private parking and is located in a beautiful area across from Lake Chaplain and takes only 10minutes to get to downtown Burlingame, where there is a ton of delicious food and shops.

1st off, the hotel was Located in a great area. We loved the people working at the front desk. Our room was good even though we had no view. The shower was great, bed was good. We ate at Bleu (not recommend). We needed to use the restroom before we hit the road. WE hadn't checked out. We went to our room, it was and tidy, she had already cleaned our room. We used the sink and toilet. The housekeeper was in the hallway so I let her know and she was a bit miffed. WE HADN'T CHECKED OUT! BLEU RESTAURANT; If you like service with a attitude then this is your place. We stood at the hostess station for awhile, finally a older( blond, grey haired) lady came and asked us how many, then, she took forever to seat us. Needless to say, she was not friendly! We finally got to order and then it came out, everything was wrong. My husband ordered a Breakfast sandwich with bacon, it came with sausage, potatoes were boring, no flavor, although they look good. I ordered the two eggs breakfast, scrambled eggs with cheese that I did not get, and I had to ask three times for toast and three times for jelly. I did like my ham and tomato juice. Inside the Courtyard Hotel I WOULDN'T recommend Bleu! I WOULD RECOMMEND the hotel.

Great location. The hotel is located as close to the water front as you can get. Just exit via the basement level and cross the street and you are in the park. Go downhill and you are at the water front. Go out the first floor doors and up a few blocks and you are on Church Street with access to shopping and lots of local coffee. The hotel is a mile walk from the University. Really couldn't have chosen a better base for a visit to town. The room was fine. There plugs everywhere you needed them and a comfy bed and comfy couch (which also turned into a bed). The shower water pressure was good and the bathroom spacious. The only con was housekeeping. I was supposed to get it every other day (once during my stay) and didn't get it at all during my stay. There were housekeepers in the halls though so you can ask them if you need more towels or something. The elevators are also a bit slow. There are 2 lifts for 9 floors and there was usually a wait for the lift and they sometimes did get really full of people. Great hotel restaurant Bleu. The service for breakfast and dinner was super fast both from the waitress and the kitchen. The breakfast was great and filling. The dinner was great, but the portion was very small - especially for the price. Overall I'd stay here again if I was in town for any reason business or pleasure, or even to visit the school.

Clean room and friendly staff. The employee at the front desk was great at explaining all of the covid updates including where to get ice. He provided a parking pass and explained all of the forms we had to sign. The room was clean and the view wasn't bad, even though we had a city view. We requested a high floor and were given the top, 9th floor. The hotel is walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants and shops downtown.

What A Gem ! TIP-ask for a 9th Floor Room with a view of Lake Champlian! Staff All Super Friendly & Helpful We Stayed One Night and It was one of the Most Peaceful! Comfortable! Enjoyable Stays We Have Had This Year ! HVAC Unit Whisper Quiet Bed & Couch Super Comfortable ! Large Bathroom Hotel Hot Tub , more like a Whirlpool not too hot and not too strong , yet Very Clean and Soothing! Parking Garage is Covered and right next to Hotel $12.00 Fee

We are Bonvoy members and have stayed in a lot of different Marriotts and we both agree this one is our absolute favorite! This is a million dollar view! Not sure how we got this for such a low rate but we are incredibly impressed. Nicest Courtyard ever. Across the street from waterfront boardwalk, bike/walking trail, few blocks from Church St Markets. Easily walkable to everything we came to see. This will be hard to beat, the bar was just greatly elevated! Friendly staff, easy parking, can't say enough besides splurge for the view of Lake Champlain!

Sunset over lake walking distance from hotel

Nice access for sure to dining, drinking, sunset views over the lake and the university culture. Not priced in proportion to quality of accommodation but alternatives aren't much better either

View from our room at sunset (right before the fireworks).

I needed to extend my trip a few days and a woman at the front desk (whose name I'll refrain from mentioning) said I'd have to move to a different room if I wanted to stay and keep the same rate. I could tell she was new at the time and had no concept of hotel "hospitality." I moved to the new room and promptly advised my finance department to remove the hotel from the list of approved accommodations when staying in Burlington. Again, the rooms look great in pictures but the walls were paper thin and there was a huge gap under the room's entrance door - so much so I could see people's shadows walking by at night. The bed was not comfortable either. Given how much the room(s) cost, it is not worth it. The value just isn't there.

Front desk was very nice, and fun to interact with. What a gorgeous, unique hotel. It's Vermont to it's core, and just gorgeous. Lots of unique touches that make it even better. Juniper has delicious brunch, everyone in my party got the blueberry pancakes with bacon and loved them. I tend to always get eggs, they were cooked perfectly, plus they allowed me to substitute beautiful sliced tomatoes for sourdough toast. Service was amazing. We also enjoyed some cocktails in the bar, ask for Kate if she's around, she's a superstar. As for the room, beds are so comfortable, the pillows too! Loved the bathroom tiles, only complaint is please please please for the love of all that's holy, use better lighting in bathrooms or add makeup mirrors! This goes for all hotels lol! Water stations and coffee on each for, plus readily available ice bag for your bucket. Nice touch! The fitness center is well equipped for it's size, yoga room, several machines, bench, lots of weights, plus two treadmill and two peleton.

Check-in was seamless & very personable - I rang a bell in the lobby & someone (Paige, I think?) appeared in seconds. My room was ready before their stated 4 PM check-in time, so I was allowed to settle in early. I stayed in the Half Pigeon room (all of the rooms are named & have very different vibes) which was very black & white & abstract. The common areas are designed to perfection. The solarium?! Maybe my favorite room I've ever stepped into in the entire universe. There are multiple fireplaces throughout the first floor. There is a small fridge for guest-use in the bar area, as well as an ice freezer. Snacks in a snack cabinet up for grabs. Breakfast was incredible. A full spread of fruits, yogurt, housemade bread (& gluten-free bread by request), flourless quiche bites, & more. Delicious, fresh-brewed coffee & all sorts of milks to choose from. On day two, they did breakfast to-order rather than a buffet. I assume to reduce food waste. I filled out a card with my desired breakfast order & what time I'd like to eat. It appeared on a tray in the dining room exactly when I requested. This hotel is SO worth the little splurge. I'm already daydreaming about planning a trip back to Burlington to stay here again. I'll pick a different room next time to experience something new. Thank you to the Blind Tiger team for creating such a beautiful, welcoming space. I didn't know hotels could feel like this!

The food and beverage are one step ahead of you with a station for tea, another area with snacks and fresh baked cookies, a coffee bar, and sparkling and fresh water on tap. I love having sparkling water on tap! The vibe is welcoming. The continental breakfast is phenomenal with really beautiful Vermont products and keeps it light with fresh breads and fruits. Try the granola. The staff are beyond amazing and really made our experience incredible! They are available and help to meet any requests. They also know a ton about Burlington so really great resource. The staff are friendly and kind. I ordered a cheese board ahead of time and really recommend it because the presentation is beautiful and a great treat to have. I stayed here with my 11 year old son and felt like it was a great choice for us. (I think it's not a hotel for really young kids, also most rooms you access by stairs so something to consider.) We stayed in the room called "Mini Bar." WOW what an incredible room. It's a king suite with a separate living room and huge king bedroom. The living room has a lovely small fireplace. The bathroom is tiny and tucked away, with steps between it and the bedroom, but that's some of the character of a building built in the 1800's. I think they did a phenomenal job updating parts of the inn to make it functional and modern, while keeping with the original charm. Full disclosure, it's an old inn so you might hear other guests as with most bed and breakfasts. If you are sound sensitive it might not be your spot. We found it incredibly relaxing and just an amazing experience. I'm already planning my next trip back!

It was exactly what we needed after traveling so long to get there. I think they do this every Wednesday evening. Free and convenient parking!! Huge plus. Situated within walking distance to a CVS and short drive to Target and Starbucks. Another plus. After getting into our room and walking around for a while, we found glass all over the floors. I have a three year old, so this was extremely concerning to me. I told the manager and they did have someone come up and vacuum it in a timely manner and they did do a good job however this could've been much worse for us. We were there for 4 nights and I only asked one time for towels (we never asked for housekeeping service) and towels were never brought up to our room. I didn't bother calling back, but I did go to the front desk and tell them when I checked out. I forgot to mention that I had to change the sheets on the bed because I found black hairs everywhere. Someone is dropping the ball here (I'm guessing housekeeping) Pool was well-kept. I enjoyed the hot tub and the views of the trees outside. Relaxing!! Overall, I'd recommend this hotel. I do think it was extremely expensive and housekeeping should've been better, however we did come during the fall season and I'm assuming this is an expensive and busy time to come.

My other issue was when we checked in they should have told us that there was another entrance closer to our room. We ended up walking the entire length of the hotel to find our room.
