If you are used to milk tea from popular boba tea franchises like Tapioca Lounge, Sharetea, Gongcha, Tiger Sugar, and even Kung Fu Tea, then I am sorry to say...the milk tea at Hey Boba and similar privately owned boba tea shops taste "diluted" and sometimes "powdery." Hey Boba tea does not taste powdery though, but does taste diluted. I want to support local businesses which is why I gave it a 4 stars.
