I left several messages for the agent after the accident, when I did not hear back from her after 2-hours I called one of the partners listed on the website, Dan Rucker, he was extremely rude, condescending and misogynistic. He questioned if the accident even happened as I had explained (like I have time to call companies and make false claims). He offered no assistance in terms of providing a solution for a rental car or helping me get my vehicle towed to a body shop. He said that was my responsibility to cover, even though it was his policyholder that hit my car. He said he would need to "validate" my claim with the company, even though the company stated that they had already spoken to PLC. I missed a return call from Dan, but he left a message where he stated they would file the claim, that day, with Liberty Mutual. I called him back to get more details on next steps and was put straight to voicemail. He is yet to call me back and neither has Dawn, the assigned agent that I left 2 messages for earlier in the day. As of this post, it has been over 24 hours and I have yet to hear back. Since I did not hear back from PLC by the end of the business day, I called the Liberty Mutual Commercial Division myself, so I could get an update. When I spoke with the claims department, they stated that a claim had not been filed, as I was told it would be by Dan. Insurance is one of those industries where you expect responsiveness and empathy. My interactions with PLC thus far have been completely opposite.

I discovered that switching to him, he was able to save the homeowner association nearly 20% on the whole condominium association policy. He actually came out and saw the property. Ryan reviewed the the covenants for two other properties that I owned, and discovered that one of the covenants were written such that the HOA covered many of the interior improvements. I had redundant coverage and he adjusted my coverage saving me money. Previously I thought that one could just purchase insurance from a representative in a call center. it takes an experienced agent willing to review the specific situation, to avoid wasting money, or leaving gaps in coverage. Ryan has done that. Just recently, a deal to sell the townhouse was doomed to fail because the lender misinterpreted the HOA covenants' insurance requirement for the condo association. In a last-minute order, Ryan was able to implement the required coverage, handled correspondence from the lender, and single-handedly saved the deal. He went above and beyond expectations.
