    I had the great fortune to find Dara through Yelp reviews as I was searching for some…read morephysical/mental/emotional help after losing our son on this earth to a car crash when someone ran a red light and killed him instantly. I had gained a lot of weight due to the stress and cortisol that was released in my body along with not getting much good sleep at all for months. I knew my son would want me to grab a hold of my life and get things a bit back on track. I interviewed a few people and once I talked with Dara over a phone consultation I knew she was the perfect person to help me. I am now 3 months in and am the strongest I have been in years thanks to our strength training. I can lift my own luggage up into the overhead bin with no soreness. I can get up and down stairs fantastically now (even though I had a partial knee replacement 2 years ago). My mental health is more aligned with my goals of navigating this grief journey with moments of joy along with sadness. Dara is fantastic at adapting my workouts to my limitations and age. I know that the clothes will fit better and better as I continue the good work with her. I feel that if I had not had 6 additional deaths since the loss of my son eight months ago that I would be even further along in my toning and conditioning; however having to fly to funerals has set me back but Dara stays right by me, coaching me along, and being my biggest cheerleader and advocate. At the age of 63, I have made the best investment in myself that I could possibly make at this time. Her in-home studio is filled with all types of equipment so that my workouts are varied and effective. Her outside studio is fun to tackle on the Florida days that allow outside workouts. I could not have asked for a more inspirational, great person to train me, and inspire me. I am EXCITED to go to our training sessions, I can't even remember the last time I got so much from a workout. Dara listens, customizes a workout for YOU, your fitness level, and makes that workout fun. Dara really cares about your health, fitness and well being. And in this time of Cornona Virus, Dara has a super clean small home gym that makes my 3 x times a week workout a major highlight of my week.     Over the years I have tried every type of fitness program, from Crossfit (I'm not tough enough), to…read morekickBoxing (gets boring), to Beachbody videos (I'm not disciplined enough to do it on my own), to YouFit/Ballys/Lifetime Fitness (again not self disciplined and I don't have a plan and I hate large group workouts), to PureBarre/Pilates (booorrrrriiinnnngggg), to those 30 min bootcamp workouts/Orangetheory (I don't like being yelled at) AND Private personal Training (too expensive) ----nothing has worked for me. I'm on week 3 at BodyTrac and I really like it. The experience is similar to personal training (each class only has a max of 4 ppl- so far I typically am only with 1 other person). There is a planned workout and so far no burpees (yaaaayyyyy). You do 30 min of cardio at your own pace- but there is a suggested cardio plan on the wall. Then you do 30 min with Corey the trainer. Everyone I've met is very friendly, Corey is a good combo of pushing you but also not a drill Sargent. He does monthly body composition measurements as part of the program so you can track your progress. The equipment is new, the facility is nice, and the location is great- plenty of parking and right next door to 7/11 for that post workout coffee :) It's extremely affordable for the value of the training you get. If you have tried everything else and you just can't get motivated to workout- this might be the place for you. It's working for me so far and I gotta say I'm shocked. I've gone from dreading and hating the idea of working out to being neutral- which is a big step for me. And that's in 3 short weeks. I'm sure as I get in better shape - I will get to the point where I enjoy it. If you want to try it out, he offers a week for free. Oh!
