The design was great and everything was quite comfortable so kudos to Philip Stark. We were happy with both the service and the food quality at this spot. We were seated straight away by the friendly hostess, and our server was on point, and gave me a nice recommendation for wine. We got a very nice little table outside, but with a large umbrella for shade from the sun - nice! My husband had a steak that came with crispy French fries and a very nice and delicately dressed salad. He was happy with his choice. I had the steak tartar, and while it was good, it was not the best I've had. The accompanying mixed greens were very tasty, as was the coffee. It was a nice little oasis in the midst of the tremendous flea market!

Anyways, I think this is a great place to hang and have a drink, but food wise it is a-ok. Not too impressed with the over all experience, maybe because our food was more on the dry side. My favorite for the night (believe it or not) was my drink, Desperado, beer with tequila served in a glass with ice cubes. Not sure if I would come back again. However, if I were to be invited back, maybe I should try their burgers and fries or fish n chips...lol (guess I am an American...haha!!)

Service is slower than usual, but the portions are ample so you'll eat well when the food finally does arrive. I tried the kangaroo burger with chou rouge and wasn't disappointed. I even picked it up with my hands (gasp!!) rather than use a knife and fork. Everyone in our group seemed happy with our meat (not a veg friendly place by any means), but nobody was raving. The dessert menu was rather plain, with nothing creative jumping out to anyone in our group of 6... which is a count against a restaurant in France.
