They have since done nothing but try to avoid any responsibility for their mistake. Today I spoke with Keith Nolan and his excuses morphed over the conversation but all were preposterous: "There was clutter in the garage so we couldn't see the damage" - untrue, the pictures I took that day show the damage was clearly visible when they inspected, they just missed it. "I have been doing this 32 years and can assure you that we bear no responsibility under North Carolina law for this" - surely they have a duty of care? "We saw the damage but we couldn't get close enough to determine the species causing it so we couldn't mention it in the report" - is there anyone that believes that can possibly be true? "We saw the damage but despite our many years of experience we couldn't be sure it was caused by insects - it might have been nail holes" - nails impersonating termites? Obviously up to you, but if they make a mistake, and everyone makes mistakes, this company will do everything to avoid taking any responsibility for its mistake. You can judge whether the excuses above are incompetent or dishonest. If you don't feel lucky, consider using another company.

My experience with Spring Green has unfortunately been horrible and I hope none of you reading this…read morereview have to go through what I have been through with them. My wife and I hired Spring Green last November based on a recommendation from a landscape installer we hired to install zoysia sod and make other improvements in our yard. Spring Green started their regular treatments in November. In early April, my wife and I noticed the key tree in our front yard had turned brown and was dropping leaves. We also noticed several of the ligustrums in the back yard doing the same thing. We called Spring Green immediately and they sent Kenneth out to look at the problem. We met with Kenneth, who consulted with Matt and determined it was a fungus and, therefore treated it with a fungicide. The problem never got better and unfortunately we started to see even more shrubs declining in our yard. Before calling Spring Green again, we met with two tree & shrub experts as well as the original installer. All of these people determined the now dead tree in the front yard and the ligustrums (several dead) in the back are in the condition they are in due to the improper application of an herbicide on all of them. We then met with both Matt and the owner, Andrew, in early June to review all the problems. Within 24 hours, Matt sent a detailed explanation of why Spring Green will not take any responsibility for the problems we are experiencing. In addition to the tree & shrubs, Spring Green damaged our newly installed zoysia sod by applying a pre-emergent to the newly installed zoysia sod in late March. This caused the zoysia to stop growing its roots and becoming established. The experts we consulted with also agreed this is what happened and said this is something they see often. The result is our new, supposedly beautiful zoysia looks horrible throughout our yard and is an embarrassment. In the same email I mention above, Spring Green argued that even though the invoice says they applied a pre-emirgent that they in fact did not do this and attempted to back it up with a screenshot showing they only applied lime that day. But a funny thing happened when I attempted to open the attachment. I received an error message saying "the AI generated image you are trying to open cannot be opened". Apparently they altered or recreated the original paperwork using AI to try to get out of their mistake with the pre-emirgent and the sod. Wow! Not much needs to be said about that! Now I am unfortunately left with having to hire an attorney to remedy the situation while our sod continues to get worse and our trees and shrubs die. There are lots of companies that do this work in our area. Be smart and hire another one other than Spring Green.

I have been using Spring Green for several years now. I had a company treating my lawn before them…read morethat was not doing a good job so canceled with them thinking I could treat the lawn myself. Wrong ! By the time I contacted Spring Green my lawn was taken over with weeds. Within a reasonable amount of time, they were able to get rid of the weeds which allowed the grass to start taking root where the weeds were. I like the fact that they listen to their customers. Just recently I started to see the weeds gradually start popping up. I called them and they explained that they had several complaints and the new employee they had hired would be replaced because he was not performing to their standards of customer satisfaction. Matt came out and retreated my lawn and the weeds were soon gone. Very good company with reasonable rates! I highly recommend them!

I had an appointment with Arrow Exterminators this morning between 8 and 9 am. I haven't seen or…read morereceived a call from anyone. I was told Chris would be here and would call before he arrived. I am a contracted customer who called Arrow in December last year after discovering termites while pulling shrubs from my home. Arrow suggested and installed Sentricon bait stations around my home. The manufacturer claims it kills termites in 30-90 days. A few days ago, I opened the cover to the station where I found the termites to find hundreds of termites I guess eating the bait along with an equal number of fire ants. Many of the other Sentricon stations are filled with fire ants and a couple looked untouched. I did some searching for other exterminators to find out that termites aren't treated by installing Sentricon or any other bait station. First, they must be treated to kill the colony. Insecticides like Termidor SC can be used to treat the area. Arrow never recommended that. I had already canceled my regular pest control with Arrow because it didn't address what I called them for. This is not the first time I've had trouble getting service from Arrow but I promise it is the last time. Arrow does not keep its scheduled appointments, does not call its customers to keep them informed.

They treat quarterly, but if you need them to come back sooner they will, at no charge. Very pleased with technician that was sent out. I would highly recommend them.
