The stadium is fantastic. Beautiful, clean, not a bad seat in the house. The staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. Parking is absolutely ZERO problem. There are several lots at or near the stadium, and attendants in golf carts regularly come around to all locations if you need a ride to the stadium from your parking spot. My wife and I are sad the season is ending and already looking forward to 2027.

The admission was only $10. I had a great view from my pickup truck as I used tier parking. It's what I like to do. Nothing better than backing up your pickup trick alongside a fence to watch a race on a Saturday night. I like putting my tailgate down and watching the race from my lawn chair of the bed of truck. Entering and leaving the race track was no problem as it was self parking. You can park just about wherever you like. Now, they do have grandstands where you can watch the race. But, there just isn't anything more exciting than watching the race from the comfort of your truck. There are no facilities here where you can wash your hands nor do that have bathrooms. I did see a few portable units though. There is only 1 concession stand and it is at the entrance to the track. So, if you park where they told me to, you have to walk all the way around and then walk all the way back. They had pretty good food. I got nachos and cheese which was great. However, the hot dog was under cooked and I decided not to eat it. I like my hot dogs well done.

The North Carolina Baseball Museum is located at Fleming Stadium in Wilson, NC. Admission is $3 for…read moreadults and $1 for children and seniors. When you arrive, there are marked parking spots and I saw the large baseball with the NC Baseball Museum sign so just entered the gate and made my way in that direction. It is on the left side of the field. The museum is staffed by volunteers. I was welcomed when I arrived and given an overview of the museum. Then before I left, I got my questions answered and was show the new museum piece from Josh Hamilton. He even looked up all that played on the Mets for me as I was curious. So I appreciated that a lot. The museum was much larger than I expected as there are two large rooms. I didn't give myself enough time to view the museum as I arrived near closing time. I had been planning to visit the following day but the museum page and online sites had differing hours so I decided the website was likely the better source. So that just means a return trip is in order especially knowing what a gem this museum is. The first room is of those from North Carolina that played in the major leagues and the other room has college baseball and others that played in the MLB. I loved the history here and seeing the artifacts and reading about the players. I highly recommend this museum if you are a baseball fan.

I love all animals but cows have always held a special place in my heart. There were a total of 8 of us that visited the farm (some more excited than others ), we all enjoyed interacting with & learning about the animals. Our host was the owner, Kyle. He was knowledgable, patient & his love for each one of the animals was obvious. We couldn't have asked for a better person to show us around the farm! He encouraged us to feed the cows, hold the baby goats & pet the pigs. Because it was my birthday, I got to bottle feed Luigi, a 3 week old baby goat - eek!!! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday & I will never forget my visit to Olde Sky Farms!!! I can't wait to visit again!
