There were so many great colors to choose from! I had to make a quick decision because I was short on time. The woman who helped me was so gracious to wind the yard right away and check me out. Two days later I went in again and the back part of the store was abuzz with everyone knitting and laughing together. What a delightful place! The yarn shop was larger than I expected and I purchased a lot more yarn here, than at the crowded festival. I even bought some awesome fluffy pom-poms at a reasonable price. Loved it here, it was peaceful after the crowds at the festival. Great distillery across the street to entertain the rest of my group while I shopped in peace.

I was returning to Toronto from a girls' weekend at a lake house in CT and included the shop on my route home. I was planning to only allow myself 30min, but stayed for over an hour. I came away with some lovely yarn for a new project, an extra skein (just because it was a gorgeous colour), a cute project bag and some stitch markers to share with knitting friends. I had a wonderful chat with Jodi, who is recently retired from her teaching career and the new owner of the shop! I did not find her helpful but another person (one of the five owners) was helpful. When I was cashing out I asked for a bag and was told there would be a fee. I have never paid for a bag in a yarn store and don't expect to when i spend $100. This left a bad taste in my mouth. This would not be my go to store at all for the reasons listed above.

My husband and his sister got a couple of beers and they were delicious. I like how you can get a book and get a beer and just sit there and enjoy.
