The yarn shop was larger than I expected and I purchased a lot more yarn here, than at the crowded festival. I even bought some awesome fluffy pom-poms at a reasonable price. Loved it here, it was peaceful after the crowds at the festival. Great distillery across the street to entertain the rest of my group while I shopped in peace.

I did not find her helpful but another person (one of the five owners) was helpful. When I was cashing out I asked for a bag and was told there would be a fee. I have never paid for a bag in a yarn store and don't expect to when i spend $100. This left a bad taste in my mouth. This would not be my go to store at all for the reasons listed above.

We stopped in while out-n-about shopping in the Hudson area…read more The staff are a lot of fun and we're playing some early 90's pop tunes which made for a great time singing together while drinking great craft beer at the bar. They have a great variety of books available for sale and they don't seem to mind if you reading one while enjoying your coffee or cold brew. In the back they have a large space with art supplies; just about anything one would need to get started and beyond. My mom purchased a few paint brushes and I purchased a round of beers for our group. Pricing is quite affordable - craft beer was $6.48 each and my mom's Saranac soda was $2.78. The store is immaculately kept and the restroom was clean. We had a great time while visiting the area and would come back again next time we're in town.
