Yes, I stopped in after fishing for a couple of days to pick up an Icecream cone on my way home. When I was at the counter I smelled hamburgers cooking. I simply asked the nice lady at the counter, if they sold hamburgers because I could smell them? She said "we do make hamburgers here and I'd be happy to make you one if you'd like? " I said why not...2 cheese burgers all the way. $9 per burger is par for the course right? She said, " it will be 10-15 minutes and I'll bring it right out to you...I WAS NOT PREPARED! 15 minutes later, Out come the most delicious, well prepared, NOT GREASY Grandma aka (Welita patty) fresh cold crispy lettuce (who uses crispy lettuce on burgers anymore?); fresh onion; delicious tomato on the softest sesame seed bun! ...BAMMM! This was not your average souvenir shop that you find all over the area. There were so many items that I have never seen before any where else inside this single-story retail shop. There were a lot of artisan made craft items from around the country made of food, soap, jewelry, glass, you name it. They actually make a point of not having anything made in China at their shop. They also offer a few charitable items to benefit some worthwhile non-profits. For such a small retail space, they certainly had a lot of intriguing and interesting items that were well merchandised within that space. If you find yourself walking along Austin Street with their line of retail shops, this place is definitely worth stopping in to see.
