Yes, it will cost you more than an Uber/Lyft basic or maybe premium but well worth it for these reasons. Vehicle- We had a very nice, clean and newer Suburban/Escalade. Additionally, traveling with a family of 5, with luggage, has often left us with cancelled (by driver) Uber/Lyft, XL and Black options, depending on the size of the vehicle we randomly got assigned. Portland Black asked and therefore ensured the right vehicle was assigned to accommodate. Driver/Service - Leland, our driver arrived early (both at home and airport - used our flight number to track early arrival to PDX) - loaded up our luggage and handled each with care (unlike the do it yourself with most Uber/Lyft options). You could tell this guy was a pro so safety and comfort couldn't be better. Cost - You pay for what you get (not that Uber/Lyft are bad) but if reliability, comfort and safety are important, I highly recommend Portland Black Car.

There was plenty of room for all of us and the house offered a perfect division of rooms & bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs, to divide the girl/boy sleeping areas. We lost power from a wind storm but the home had a back up generator system that gave us enough power to continue on with everything we had planned. Monica checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We saw deer roaming the grounds and got to watch the storm from the amazing wall of windows on the back side of the house. She is an easy person to communicate with, she cares about each client and she is so knowledgeable about travel routes and getting the best prices, too! Sometimes she can match "online" prices, but even if hers are a little more, it is well worth it to pay the extra fee...because...when (not if) you get stuck, Kim is a just a phone call away to help work with the airlines. You aren't alone to navigate this crazy world of airline travel...she is your advocate and your friend! I also used her to book my personal adoption travel and she was amazing to handle that and all the crazy of that quick trip. She's gotten me and my colleagues out of some spectacular jams and it was so nice to have an actual travel agent to get you "unstuck" in whatever city you're currently in! She's become a friend! My partner's birthdate year wasn't corrected which irritated him and though they reasons quickly and book the best that they can this trip experience left a really bad taste in my mouth to which I'll likely not use them again. This was just my experience. I think a phone call to walk through the final itinerary would have helped. A few things hadn't been made clear to me in the end. Sometimes things just aren't a good fit, and in this case I think this agency isn't a good fit for me personally.

I would have to say that Airport Drayage is easily on the upper echelon of service within the list of companies I have hired. They run a tight ship with lengthily tenured drivers. The drivers stuck with them and retire from them for a reason - they run a solid company that takes care of employee needs and concerns without sacrifice of service. Are they the cheapest in town - no they are not and for good reason. You get what you pay for in the service industry so be a smart business person and shop around. I think you will be more than satisfied with the service you will find here.
