Food was good, prices great, though the service could've definitely been better. Waitress had the entire bar to tend to (not as bad as it sounds) but lacked in the multitasking and follow up experience. All in all a solid 3, hopefully next visit will net better service so I can show the food with a better rating that it definitely deserves.

I just love being here around this time! I would like to note that the stone parking lot is across the side street, just something to keep in mind. Plenty of spaces though but not marked. We were greeted by super nice hostesses and great servers. I'm really glad the one lady isn't working there anymore because I never wanted to come back after her. Since new, friendly staff is here I will definitely be back. I don't drink but the bar area is a little smaller for the crowd this place gets. Otherwise the restaurant itself is very family friendly but if you want to avoid the band noise don't come past 7-7:30 on a weekend ( I can't say if there's music on other days). Great for groups, singles, couples, etc. I came with the family and our server was so sweet, I felt bad having to move with a toddler in the group because of the noise. Our next server was very patient and attentive. All the food was so good, a little on the pricier side for the portion sizes but delicious nonetheless. Definitely make it a point to get on the patio and look out on Wampler's lake. My little paradise close to home.

I figure that fried chicken should be an easy sell, right? The chicken at Bungie's was frankly…read moreunappealing. Maybe this is because it's "broasted" which is some combination of deep-frying and pressure cooking. Anyway, the coating on the chicken didn't have much flavor beyond grease (no spice to savor), Somehow, even with that crunchy, oily, airtight coating, the chicken itself was pretty dry. The french fries were super hot on the outside, but still had that frozen taste in the center. The coleslaw was the best part of the meal. It's homemade with big pieces of cabbage and craisins, which were a sorta weird but not unwelcome touch. The atmosphere was drab. It's a beige room with neutral tone tables and chairs, the restaurant equivalent of a doctor's office. The people working there were nice.
