We met a local person who told us that this place was connected to a church and that proceeds from sales would help the local community. Sounds good. I'm not real big on thrift shops, but we stopped in. Books and clothes and household items. Didn't find anything that I absolutely had to have. Prices are reasonable. Most items had price stickers. I did see two CorningWare casserole dishes with lids that were rather tempting, but I would have had to carry them a couple of miles back to the car. I actually passed on them! One was shallow, dark brown, with a cornucopia motif. The other was the classic blue flower. Maybe I was an idiot to pass on those. Go grab 'em if you can. Tell 'em I sent ya.

Everything I ordered was well packaged and came rather quickly! Very safe and secure! Everything was worth the money I spent and the shipping was reasonable. Side Note: The owner, Scarlett, is such a WONDERFUL person. She is incredibly knowledgable and posts a lot of information. I appreciate every interaction that I have with her. I'm definitely going to be finding something for my mother there for Mother's Day! Highly recommend!

What a fun little fabric wonderland!…read more I finally got to visit The Fabric Cobbler in person--and let me just say, Scarlett has created the cutest fabric store ever! I spent quite a bit of time happily perusing all the wonderful and unique fabrics. And then I discovered her FABRIC PANEL LIBRARY... I was absolutely astounded by how HUGE it is and by all the beautiful designs available. It's basically a treasure hunt, except the treasure is FABRIC--and I am very easily distracted by fabric. I often catch Scarlett on Whatnot, so it was especially fun to finally walk into her shop and see all the magic in person. She has an amazing selection of unique books, notions, and pretty much every fabric design you could possibly imagine. There is something exciting around every corner! The whole shop is a treasure trove of creativity, color, and fun. I could have stayed for hours... and, judging by my shopping, apparently I did! Scarlett is absolutely delightful, and her shop is a must-visit for any fabric lover. I'll definitely be back! Five stars and a whole spool of thread! I'll be back! Hugs, Vintagequeeny

First thing I did was ask to be seated elsewhere because our table felt claustrophobic--one of perhaps the only two in the room so close to one another. We were moved cheerfully. My adult grandkid and I shared the spinach strawberry salad and a crab salad croissant sandwich. We followed our meal with dessert, sharing bread pudding and carrot cake. It was all wonderful. As was the slice of rhubarb cake we took home with us. We will certainly visit the LaTeaDa Tea Room again--and probably bring friends.

I can find all sorts of band tshirts, hippy trippy styles and skater styles. Lots of darker colors too. You can find so many tapestries, huge options for incents, plugs and jewlery. I've gotten a few beautiful dreamcatchers and NSFW worded items here too (even more adult options in the store in champaign il)... I've never had an issue with the workers, but I also understand the lack of people wanting to work and available workers on one shift. Give people a chance! The prices feel a little steep at times, but its worth having a place to shop that isn't like everywhere else, especially if you're not into what "everyone else is wearing" styles. This is by far my favorite place to shop as an adult.
