The food was great! A lot of the breakfast options even offered 1/2 portions. That's great since this place is along the highway and most people aren't able to take leftovers home. Prices are even better. Coffee was fine. I wish they had real cream. Whenever we're in the Niobrara area we'll be stopping here.

I really liked how much this felt like a family establishment and it really was like sitting in my grandma's dining room, other than the fact that there were a ton of other people in the restaurant! Since I stopped in for breakfast, I had something fairly basic with the Eggs and Toast breakfast. I heard a lot of people love the Chicken Fried Steak here though, so it may be worth a try. I took a Caramel Roll to go for the drive back to Omaha and it was completely worth it.

The interior was reminiscent of a very small hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant, which it seemingly is. It just felt nice, comfortable, relaxing. The prices are also VERY reasonable, with the added benefit of going directly into the community. The food here was very good. Had a regular cheeseburger but wroth fried egg on top, and fried. The fries were only average but the burger was most, delicious, hot still (ate fries first), and just scrumptious in general. While here two local farmers were just discussing the weather, yammering back and forth. A third person joined them and kept talking more. Again, very relaxing, great food, and small, very small, local place. If in the area this is a must try place! Highly recommended. Menu is very basic but for me it's more about the home town feel.
