This review reflects my personal experience and opinion…read more I do not recommend Abby Pope, APRN, CNM, or Emerald Women's Hormone Health in Festus, MO. I paid over $6,000 for treatment and left deeply disappointed. Despite raising concerns multiple times about hair loss and missing labs, my concerns were minimized or ignored. Critical lab tests were skipped or mishandled, and I was prescribed medication without informed consent or a full discussion of risks. Without my knowledge or approval, minoxidil, a powerful hair loss medication with serious potential side effects, was shipped directly to my home without any consultation, warning, or discussion of risks. I was never informed that using minoxidil could cause dependence, nor that stopping it could result in accelerated hair loss (known as "shedding") worse than before treatment. I was not given the chance to weigh these risks before the medication was prescribed and delivered to me without consent. Instead of addressing my underlying concerns, I was dismissed, pushed toward an expensive hair loss program, a third-party dermatologist referral, and more costly treatments--without clear pricing or explanation. I formally requested a refund and received no response. I've filed complaints with the state licensing board. This experience left me financially and emotionally frustrated. Do not reccomend.

From the moment you call to schedule your first appointment you are greeted with kindness and efficient employees. When you walk through the doors you are immediately greeted with a smile and hello. I never waited more than 5 minutes to get my therapy started. Every single aide there is friendly and very helpful. They work efficiently to help the therapists and patients. I personally worked with Craig (physical therapist) and Kailey (Phyiscal Therapy Assistant). Craig is very intelligent and passionate about listening to his patient's and creating the best plan of treatment for them. Craig and Kailey work well together to make sure each patient receives the attention and care they need while at therapy. Since I have spent so much time at this location I was able to witness all the the staff interact with patients. Every single one of them seemed to know exactly how to connect and care for the patient they were working with. From children to elderly, chronic conditions to acute injuries, I saw the Festus Athletico team go above and beyond for patients all the time. I am very grateful for the life altering therapy I received and will enthusiastically refer all of my friends and family to them if they are ever in need of p.t.
