This is a great place to take kids and dogs and old people, grouped in that order. There is a large grassy area to frolic in, tennis courts, I believe there might be basketball and a small playground. There is a secret area which I do not wish to disclose (just look toward the trees!) but if you are adventurous you will certainly find it. If you decide on that 2 min adventure, you will feel secluded until you hear the roaring of Jet Blue passing by, and you will see that there are many private spots to sit with your hot date and a picnic either watching the harbor or the airport. I recommend the airport side as it is very interesting. Oh and you might feel like you are going to get hit by a plane, but you won't. I hope!
Oh and my favorite thing there is the cedar tree!! Stand under it when it is really windy, it sounds so neat! Also, on your way to the park on Bay View, please pay attention to the house on your left with the monkeys and palm trees.
Then you can cry your way back to your car because you don't live here, but you should for this very reason. Its one of the good parks of the Throp! read more
