Now the teachers, most of them are nice and actually care about your well being and your life goals. The school overall is okay it just feels like you never have any privacy but i like the blacktop and the field it's alot of space for the kids i just think it's unfair that only the special kids get to go on the little playground area and not everyone else cus i get that it's not big enough for all of us but it's still kinda dumb. Other than that i think the biggest problem is how rude mr fellows, mrs gillespie, and mr mcmackin can be. Mr fellows has absolutely no remorse for students what so ever and he does not care how he treats them. Mrs gellispe can just be disrespectful for no reason she also has no remorse for students and doesn't care about their feelings. Mr mcmackin is very insensitive and disrespectful, he's not just doing his job he makes unreliable threats and makes kids cry and hate him because of it. he doesn't try to understand he just says oh well shouldn't have done what you did and that's it these three people are the most disrespectful people in this school and have no remorse. Mr henderson is a great principal though and he does things very well, along with mrs monice she's very sweet and cares about the students tremendously and tries to be there for them. both the counselors are very reliable and will definitely be able to help your child with something they're going through. Overall my biggest concern are those three teachers i just want the nexts kids that go here to have a great experience and not have problems with staff. Students deserve to learn in an environment they're comfortable in and like.

My kids don't go here but I live on the same street as the school. The staff here is terrible. I…read morehear them out on the field all the time screaming at the kids and the kids ain't no better. The kids are always yelling out profanity and I never hear the staff taking control of that. I ride BMX bikes out in front of my house and the kids will insult me and make fun of me and staff does nothing. Sometimes when they leave the gates open during the day I will take my kids to the school to play on the field and staff always kicks me out. They have even kicked my son and I out for riding our bikes in the parking lot. Total power trip on the staff side. They don't want any kids to enjoy the facilities at thier expense. A place that is built for kids but no kids allowed. Makes a lot of sense.

I love the school is small and that all the teachers care for all the students and most of the students care for their school and their community. This school has hosted the Special Olympics in the past. And the students take part in aiding the Olympians and running the event.

Quite a few kids showed up it was really nice. We drove one hour and 40 minutes to get here and it was well worth it. Really don't know much about the school, only that it was small, but I think there's only like 4000 people that live in yerington lol. I do know that we really enjoyed the wrestling coach. So far I have liked all the teachers (Thompson, Gianotti, Benecke, Tremayne, and N. Smith). They communicate well via E-mail and phone. There is an ample amount of homework (enough to be beneficial, but not overwhelming). The PTA has family movie nights that our family enjoys. The movie admission is free and snacks are available for purchase. The school nurse and cafeteria staff are well educated in the area of food allergies, which I appreciate.
