Once I finish trying on the first couple dresses she told me to go look for more. The time is 350 and i am told that they close at 4. Right when we picked out all these dresses. So obviously we felt like we needed to leave so we did not try on all the dresses she told us to pic out. Then we go to leave and the door is locked and followed us to the door and locked it again. We also drove an hour and a half which they knew that. I am very disappointed with the way this situation went.

I've always had a thing for Indian clothing. And this shop doesn't disappoint. Along with trinkets and jewelry, there are racks of skirts, dresses, shirts ... and one rack in particular with terrific markdowns: one item for $14.99, two for $25.00. (Two it is!) As everyone points out the proprietor is awfully nice, friendly and helpful. She and my daughter, whose travel plans to Delhi were foiled due to COVID, talked about India. Located near the playhouse, the shop is easy to find and worth a look-see.

Definitely check it out if you live, work or play in Doylestown!

I can't recommend this bridal store more! I came in with a vague idea of the style I wanted, which…read moreI shared with my consultant Sarah, but also an open mind. Sarah helped pick countless styles from the floor to help narrow down what I really wanted. She was extremely patient the entire time, and helped me hone in what I actually liked. I ended up saying yes to the dress - to a dress I did not even ever have in mind- the same day! Granted, it took me a few hours, but she never made me feel rushed or like I was an annoyance (which I'm sure my indecision was...). I thought I wanted a lacy A Line and ended up with a crepe silhouette that she picked out! I loved that she even took the time to let me try on my top 2 choices twice...to really help me decide on THEE dress! I haven't received the dress yet & unfortunately moved from out of town so won't be able to get my alterations here, but she said the dress could even be shipped directly to me. Overall it was a lovely experience! I can update the review once I receive my dress as well. The store itself is also gorgeous, clean, and has private section for each bride. Cannot recommend them enough!

I went into my search for my dream designer wedding gown with requirements that the shops I'd…read moreconsider would offer in-house alterations and storage of my gown until my wedding. La Belle Mariee checked the boxes, was around the corner from my home for fittings, and I couldn't wait for my appointment! I had the absolute best SALES experience at La Belle Mariee Bridal. Unfortunately selling me things was where any positive experience ended. My consultant was fantastic. She even told me that if I bought a veil there, they'd store it until my wedding along with my dress, and that they lend their sample veils out for hair and makeup trials so the bride's doesn't get dirty. This influenced me to purchase a veil for over $500 because that sounds fabulous, doesn't it? This turned out to be totally untrue. I called to sign out the sample for my trial and was told they cannot honor that promise... only a few months later. Totally surprising and disappointing when one of the reasons I bought that veil was that I could use the loaner for my trial. So that was terrible, but months later, there was more. Sadly, I had to go pick up my wedding dress and veil after they alerted me via a BLAST EMAIL to all brides that they are no longer doing alterations and to come pick your items up. I feel this message should have been delivered via a personal phone call because the impact is significant. It was so impersonal, especially when spending thousands of dollars with them. I would expect this kind of communication from David's Bridal, and there is a reason I never went to David's Bridal. I wanted better, and I deserve better service at this price point on my luxury designer gown. When I expressed to the owner my frustration that the impact is significant to me because I don't have the ability to store my items in my own home due to major construction, and would have to store them at my mom's house and bring them back and forth between there and a seamstress, she told me it's only significant if I choose to make it that way. Nobody cared about my experience as a customer and how stressful this has been for me. If you are looking to buy an experience (one-stop shopping, storage, onsite alterations) like I was, not just a gown, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. They totally bait and switched on me twice. Now I have had to store my gown at my mom's house, hired a separate seamstress, coordinated driving my dress between my mom's house and the seamstress's house... as if I didn't have enough to worry about as a bride and mother with a full time job. Beyond the initial sale, everything was a disappointment. The right thing to do would have been to honor the commitment to brides who have made their purchases already and offer the advertised onsite alterations to them, but not offer that service to any additional brides. There are a ton of bridal shops in this area.... Wish I'd chosen to look at some of the other shops before ending up at this one. I originally posted this review months ago when everything happened and was contacted by the owner the same day. She asked me to take the review down because it was hurting her business. However, this is simply an accurate account of what I experienced as a customer and I am entitled to share that with other consumers. Instead of accepting that not every customer has a great experience and using the feedback to do better for others in the future, the owner called me twice more asking me to take the review down, then told me that if I did not do so, she would tell the recommended seamstresses in this area not to work on my dress because I am a "difficult customer". I was so angry and sad about all the added stress and cried so much over how I was treated. She scared me and I removed my review. Now that a wonderful seamstress has taken great care of me and everything is complete on my beautiful dress, other consumers deserve to make informed decisions. I hope that this business can accept honest feedback on the experience they provided to me as a customer and use it to do better for others in the future.

My daughter is the s-l-o-w-e-s-t shopper in the world and this place did not help! With herself,…read moreher hubby and two children and socks being a necessary accessory in the chilly months, she had herself a field day and was so excited to be able to cross this off from her school shopping list and of course she had to fill a bag for her and hubby. Of course with this huge area of more socks than you have ever seen in one store at incredibly low prices and deals galore on the more you buy, the more you save, I had to shop too, even though I have a stuffed drawer full of socks now, I can go through that drawer and finally discard the tattered and worn thin ones. While I have a fetish for shoes, my hubby has one for socks and he actually has two drawers, one containing dress socks and the other casual socks, although he is better than I am about tossing worn out peek a toe socks, on any given day I will find a bathroom trash can full of his discarded socks. So with all of the cool colors, designs and styles, I did my sock shopping in no time at all, while daughter and family checked out each and every sock! After two sandwiches, ice cream and filling my cooler and car with meats, cheeses, produce, baked goods and some gift ideas, I decided to go to the car and wait. That waiting turned into the seat going back and a good nap as daughter and family checked out every single sock in this shop, while I dreamed of footsies and pretzel sandwiches, for a good hour or more! Quick or slow, you really should check them out, good quality socks at great prices and they have very inexpensive socks in a wide range of sizes and colors for folks with diabetes or circulation problems. Go to their website before you visit for discount coupons, only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that my daughter and family will have toastier tootsies during the chilly days. As for me, I tossed out lots of holey socks, I have to get rid of that mouse who's been hanging around in my drawer.
