I was able to store the trains ok when I lived in New Hampshire but now that I am in Florida space is quite limited. So I decided to get rid of a lot of my O gauge collection of locomotives and passenger cars that were NOT New York Central and focus my collection on the NYC. I have seen the unkind reviews others have posted, but I found Nick to be most helpful and certainly very knowledgable. Furthermore, the store backs up to the CXS yard in Wildwood and the line that runs from Jacksonville to Zephyr Hills and trains go by frequently and there are usually switching operations during the week AND a CXXX facility with a couple of their locomotives. What more could one ask for???!!! So I rate Nick's highly, and if it seems I need to pare down my remaining collection, I will take them to Nicks. Oh, by the way, the store is closed Sundays and Mondays, the store is a place of business, not a place for chatting and gawking, although I must say he has a lot of really interesting pieces.

You can park along the street, as there are no signs prohibiting it, but the vehicles do block the majority of the right lane. We were greeted upon entry and checked on during our perusing, but before entering we were also greeted by a Calico cat on the ramp leading to the entry door. They demanded a tax in the form of pets, which of course my wife had to oblige. The place is an older two-story home, which was obvious by the creeks of the floorboards. They have a lot of items to look at, which we love in a store; however, it would seem they are more geared to children with all the holiday items from Easter, to Halloween and Christmas. In the beginning, we were not impressed because the holiday items seemed to overwhelm the senses and draw attention from the actual antiques we were there to find, but the place eventually grew on us. Unfortunately, we did not find that had to have item and even though we enjoyed the time, we will not be adding this place to our favorites list to return yearly.

Sizes for women were S,M,L, not 10,12,14,16 etc. You have to l for your size & it was on the price tag either Shoe section was a hot mess, no sizes marked on the rack or the price tag either & they sizes were all mixed up. The prices were much higher too. I normally walk out with something, nope put the 2 items back!! I hope this change won't happen to the other locations.
