They offer fantastic tuition on the most wonderful horses in the most beautiful setting. They offer lessons for a wide range on disciplines and the instructors are friendly and very encouraging - my riding has improved massively and confidence has grown so much since I've been riding there and I travel regularly from London to get my riding fix. They have amazing hacking on their doorstep and I have enjoyed many fun rides and xc course hires on their incredibly reliable well schooled horses who are a joy to ride. The yard staff are helpful and accommodating. If you're thinking of booking do it! You won't be disappointed and I recommend them to everyone I know. I will be a customer for life

My husband rode horses during his boarding school days and was eager to ride again. But the rest of the family didn't have any previous experience but the staff was quite patient and gave us basic instructions on how to steer the horse and ride slowly through the countryside. We had 1:1 guide with us the entire time. The only thing I was surprised about was them tagging on another 8.5 pounds for an assessment. Wasn't sure what's there to assess since we were all beginners. The staff explained that it was to match us with the "right" horse. Anyway, other than that, overall, it was a pleasant experience and if you're into horses and want to see the countryside, this is a great way to do it.

The owner Bonnie can be strict at times but its just to get you to be the best you can be and it is also for yours and the horses safety. Its a great experience and i love to go every sunday. Its great for begginers and experienced riders both! The price is good and i find that at the end of every lesson i have a smile on my face:) People might think that the horses are 'plodders' as i have read on one previous comment but thats harsh as they are well looked after and are happy and friendly, and it all depends on how well you get them up together in the ride. I would highly recommend this stables for anyone, because it has helped me progress through the years and become a better horsewoman. Bonnie and Jordan are very friendly despite what people may say and i have had goods rides with them both. Every week i find myself learning something new and interesting. I never get tired of the lessons because i love horses so much and practise makes perfect. My favourite things to do in the lessons are: -jumping -bareback -canters -no stirrups and i like to ask bonnie to have hard rides as i like a challenge I love this stables and ive made lots of friends, horses included, if people dont like it here then thats there choice but i wouldnt go to any others stables. Chibley Farm Equestrian Centre is an excellent place to learn to ride. It caters for both adults…read moreand children and is currently holding pony camp on its grounds. My husband and I were looking for somewhere to take horse riding lessons locally and we couldn't be happier than we are with Chibley Farm. Trina Lewis' yard is well kept and we were greeted by friendly staff. I used to own horses and have done a fair amount of jumping so I was looking for a centre which cateres just as well for adults as it does for children (most centres in my experience have many ponies but few suitable horses for adults who aren't beginners). Saying that, it has been a long time since I have ridden and so I was also looking to build my confidence and start again with the basics. My husband has never ridden before and so we needed safe hoses to learn on and patient teachers. This is where Chibley Farm comes into its own. Trina is an excellent teacher and ambitious for her pupils my husband was cantering by week three and he is over the moon. The other teachers (Pippa and Sarah) are also excellent and are genuinely committed to improving your riding skills. If you are looking to learn to ride, and ride well, then I would highly recommend Chibley Farm Centre.

Having heard since my daughter was 2 that she wanted to ride a horse and knowing she couldn't do it…read moretill she was 4, it's been a long wait. Naturally I'm a bit of a concerned dad and the thought of popping my little girl on a big unruly animal capable of flinging her God knows where is frankly terrifying! What a lovely surprise then to find the Boeley Equestrian Centre to be an incredibly reassuring experience. On arrival I was warmly greeted and the check in process was simple. They even changed the pony assigned on realising how small my daughter was, which certainly helped calm any nerves! They provide a helmet for new starters and all kids in this starter class get to ride in the same indoor paddock so they can see how the others kids get on. Each rider had personal supervision and they even allowed the ponies to break into a trot so it wasn't just plodding around for an hour. Parents get to sit in a viewing gallery and that's probably my only niggle is that this was completely unheated which for Feb meant it was an ice box. Wrap up warm! As a first visit ever to an equestrian centre it met all my expectations for beginner classes so I'd highly recommend this to any parent with an enthusiastic show jump wannabe!
