Unfortunately, it was half of my front tooth that broke off! I didn't even know if Dr Blair was open today, but I grabbed the phone and called them. They called me back right before 5 when they were closing. It's a good thing they know me. I hurry to get into town, as it takes about 20 minutes, but they stayed and waited for me. It was pretty bad, and it took over an hour to fix it. They were so nice, they didn't even charge me extra for staying open. They don't open again till January 5th so it was so nice they stayed. I learned that miracles happen all the time and to nerver stop believing, because there are still wonderful, caring people out there.

NEW PATIENTS PLEASE BE INFORMED... I'm new in Prescott and…read morereceived an advertisement/offer from this dentist in the mail stating, "New Patient Special, $150, Includes Comprehensive Exam, Full-Mouth X-Rays, and Cleaning Regular Price: $330 Expires in 90 days. Call for details." (This offer is also posted on their website) This was not the case. After excruciating, deeper than normal, gum probing and bleeding I was advised I needed an extensive deep cleaning, cost $910.00. Meaning, I needed 1-2 more appointments and the above offer did not include a general cleaning. So, if you have been a regular "dentist goer" ever 6 months, for 20+ years and you go to this dentist, you may be surprised and scared by their practice. He may be a great dentist, his staff may be personable but the approach to solicit new patients, in my opinion, is misleading and dishonest. Just hoping that other potential "new" patients don't feel, as I did, taken advantage of! BTW, a month later, I took a 3 1/2 hr. drive to get my teeth cleaned from my original dentist with all the information from the above dentist, they re-examined my teeth, went over my history and confirmed that what Curtis recommended was not necessary. I hope this helps someone, in some way.

This is a top notch dental practice! Dr Spurgeon has been my dentist for over 7 years. I have had…read moreissues for many years with my teeth due to poor dental care when I was in my teens. He has gradually helped me get my teeth back to good condition and is ALWAYS very fair with recommendations and pricing. A few years I moved to Phoenix and went to a dentist there who quoted me over $5000 to fix some issues with my teeth. After coming back up to see Dr Spurgeon he said 80% of what they quoted wasn't necessary. He has earned my business 10x over, I highly recommend him and his team. As long as I live in AZ, this will be where I go!

I write this review contemplating the absence of pain, realizing on the pain register there is an overall feeling of zero, and nowhere is above two. Dr. Szeto is not so much a dentist as an archer of decay. He honed in with his skillfully wielded drill on every last bit of it like a lazer and did it with such skillful care that he saved two of my teeth that I thought were goners and his well-chosen staff both cleaned beneath my gumline prompting improvement in my now unreceiding gumline (my mouth feels so clean!) and dealt with my unusual insurance and payment system (special thanks to Abby for guarding my gold tooth). If I ever have to have a tooth removed, I'd trust Dr. Szeto to take it out with a specially designed arrow from 50 yards away in wind.

I paid $1500 for a partial that did not work or fit my mouth. The partial broke one of my "anchor teeth" so when I went back to have it fixed I was told by the billing girls that I would have to pay another $6000 to get the first partial fixed that I had already paid for. And I don't understand why this Office doesn't want to answer any of these complaints which they could easily do on this platform!

They wanted to do consultation. That's what I was there for but they said they needed their own Xrays etc. I told them I had just gotten some. They explained it as being they needed theirs and it was part of the exam. Then I got charged a bill because insurance wouldn't pay. So beware what wording they use. It was not part of exam but a charge which they knew or should have that it would not be covered twice.
