The lobby is worth a visit all by itself. The gym is medium size, well equipped, and boasts a panoramic view along with the usual TVs, etc. Hoag Medical Center has a space there, and they do classes and provide services. They provide dozens of activities, and dances and ping pong! My CPR class was outstanding! The city has to be congratulated on building and staffing this valuable city service!

The corn maze has a lot of "photo op" areas with beautiful lights and I was really glad the wagon ride was included in the admission and wasn't a paid attraction. The farm was beautiful and it was nice to enjoy the ride and see all the lights and Halloween decor. I also came on a Sunday around 6:30 and it was surprisingly not as busy as I expected it to be. For the adult crowd, they also did have a small bar with beer and wine! Pumpkins ranged averaged around $2 a pound and we picked out a small pumpkin that cost us around $15, which wasn't too bad for a souvenir. Overall, Tanaka Farms was one of the nicer pumpkins patches we've been to and I would totally recommend it to others.

Under the impression that if there's any bad weather, this is a safe place to be. Plenty of handicap parking outside as well. The bulletin boards listed plenty of activities, written in large print, and there were volunteers, to assist. Just a nice place that should be noted.

It's a nice little place, very quiet and easy to access. However, depending on the time of day ie.3-5pm 7-9am Culver boulevard can be a rather busy street at those times. Uci and places towards Newport Beach are definitely creating more traffic at those peak times. The AARP class was awesome. Super easy, very informative. It costs $25 for non AARP members and $20 if you are an AARP member. They are held here every 3 months so the next one should be around May or so. You can always contact the center here for more information. There's also some nice accommodations here like food and drinks. Also close to the golf course here and the clubhouse has a restaurant to eat at as well. Plenty of parking and plenty of handicapped parking as well. The city of Irvine also has programs that provide seniors with rides to and from most of their senior centers including this one.

There is a kitchen that we can rent for big events. The place is reasonably priced. The staff is very amiable & helpful. The parking lot is decent-sized. The only thing is that in Irvine, ya gotta go through lots of red-tape & jump alot of hoops for everything you do and everything you change that is in any relation to the city of Irvine. If that wasn't such a hassle, I'd have given this place 5 stars.

It was an unexpected stop, but it was nice to just chill out and enjoy the Irvine community. I was here at Heritage Community Park for about 2 1/2 hours. After having brunch with my family at the Broken Yolk Café - Irvine after taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from LAX, we ended up here after swinging by the house and picking up their tennis gear and headed here for warm ups and tennis matches. It was nice to just sit here and watching my nephew play tennis and remind myself that I used to play tennis, but never got any good because I never really was good to begin with lol. I just loved to serve hard. In any case, I spent a large chunk of my time here at Heritage Park watching him play 3 matches over the course of 2 1/2 hours. The day got warm, so I found some shade near the tennis courts. I managed to nod off for 10 minutes while cooling off. It was cool to see the park and all the families that was here that morning and me being a tourist. It reminds me that I could still pick up tennis if I wanted to, hopefully I can find my tennis racquet somewhere in storage. It was also nice that there is restroom facilities here at Heritage Community Park too. The overall experience here at the Heritage Community Park here in Irvine, California was good and very nice after a day of travel from Honolulu to Los Angeles, and then a short trip to Irvine. The park itself isn't that large, but it does have a lot of tennis courts. My sister said Irvine community has a big tennis engagement thing and it shows that young people embrace it wholeheartedly. The park itself is well maintained by the city of Irvine and there's a lot of trees everywhere to shield anyone and everyone from the heat during summer time and maybe the wind sheer during the winter months. From where I was, there wa at least 4 full sized tennis courts here and I was situated next to the parking lot. There wasn't much sitting areas to view, but I got lucky with a wall and shade from the trees. For the most part though, I ended up drifting off to sleep a few times, because I was jetlagged, but I was awake for most of the matches my nephew was in. Heritage Community Park is located in the heart of Irvine, California. There's also a spot for barbecues and soccer fields too. This park is particularly massive and I just stayed for the tennis matches. It's located in the heart of Irvine, California at 14301 Yale Avenue. Like all municipal parks, there's no admission fee to enter the park. Although there is rental fees associated with some on site equipment and things, majority of the park is free to enjoy with friends and family. As far as parking goes, there's a large and generous parking area for anyone and everyone who wishes to park here. And if you like public transportation, choose the routes that's best for you to get here to Heritage Community Park in Irvine. Never thought I'd be here to see people play tennis while on vacation, but here I was. It was cool and a nice change of pace when I am traveling. If you need that downtime and in Irvine, consider coming here to Heritage Community Park. Definitely will lift your spirits for a day or two. I'm happy that I saw my nephew play tennis. If you are a student, you get access to so much here at the…read moreAnteater Rec Center (ARC): rock climbing wall, three full basketball courts, two fitness areas with free weights and machines, a dance studio, indoor running platform, mat space with punching bags (for wrestlers, grapplers, martial artists, etc.), and a perfectly warm outdoor pool. The great thing is that the ARC opens up at 6 am during normal hours, so you can get your work out in super early. It also closes pretty late, for those who like a work out at night. If you are a student at the ARC, I highly recommend trying the group fitness classes or the martial arts classes. Exercise regimen are just easier to maintain with a group, especially if you are just starting. Traditional Jiujitsu is taught by Ray, who is super chill and teaches you the fundamentals of self-defense. The Brazilian Jiujitsu class is taught by Harrison and Cheri, who are both upper belts under blackbelts Coach AJ / Coach Alex who teach at Valhalla Jiujitsu. They are extremely knowledgable, friendly, and know how to motivate a class and keep it fun.
