It was a very fair price per person. Under £80 for the entire experience for 2 people. They also sell other assorted desserts, shakes and cakes All the employees were attentive, they explained in detail what our package came with and they made sure we were happy from start to finish. Unfortunately I didn't make the reservation myself (relied on family in London to make it) so we didn't get booked for the afternoon tea service as I'd hoped and just had a reserved table instead. Still, I indulged in some scones with cream and strawberry jam, paired with a strong cup of decaf English breakfast tea. The staff is very friendly and took the time to explain the drink and pastry options to us. I hope I get a chance to visit again for the full tea service before the end of my trip!

I've been looking for a good coffee in Croydon for ages and finally found it in Crushed Bean! Soon they also going to open sitting area downstairs that will be possible to hire for private events as well. Prices are more than affordable - £2.20 for Latte and just £1.20 for fresh baked kiwi square, such a bargain! They are working closely with The Bread Factory based in Hendon for a great choice of pastries and snacks on offer. There are also hot and cold sandwiches that looked yummy if you are hungry. Service is great as well - guys who are also the owners are very friendly and know what they are doing, wish them good luck and hope they will soon grow into a chain available all around London. The place was humping when we arrived: young families, senior citizens & other hikers like us.
