But here it did and the chap who brought my coffee over confirmed it, which was kind. The coffee was good, the ambience laid back and the feeling was of a haven from a bustling street and city. Eventually, I left my regal armchair to get back and on. This café sets a fine standard for competitors to meet.

There isn't dedicated car parking, but the on-street parking outside is normally reasonably easy to find a space in, and it costs as little as 20p to park in the pay area if you can't get a space on the road opposite which shouldn't really break the bank.

Though I don't think I'll be back in Sheffield anytime soon, if I were to return, I'd probably give Steam Yard another go and try a different drink.

This branch of Starbucks is located in "The Gallery" in Meadowhall and is one of three branches of…read moreStarbucks inside the large shopping centre, for online ordering purposes via the app this is the "Lowery Gallery" store and it is basically a large mall kiosk and is opposite Sports Direct and USC building, Millie's Cookies and Mothercare. The branch follows the fairly newer and modern mall kiosk layout from Starbucks, similar to the one at Westfield London but the overall store its-self I found to be a poor Starbucks branch. The setup and layout of the store seemed uncomfortable and it felt like they were rushing you in and out, and trying to appeal to a more to-go market, for example, there isn't a large number of tables or virtually any comfortable seating. The staff here didn't seem too friendly either, they also seemed frustrated at my attempts to put in multiple mobile orders because I wanted to get more stars, especially with the Star dash going on where I need to get 18 stars for them to double, which is one of the flaws in the Starbucks system as obviously, I feel you should get one star per item purchased and not just one star per transaction. My overall drink quality was awful, it wasn't mixed when making as it should be, and I could only drink half the drink before the watery, bleachy terrible taste kicked in, which was really bad. My friend also commented the quality of her beverage wasn't as good as other stores, I'd even go as far to say the table was actually uncomfortable and made me want to leave even sooner than relax in comfy seating and surroundings which most Starbucks stores tend to be. Due to multiple issues with this branch, including the awful and below standard beverage quality, where I ended up leaving half of my drink, as well as issues with the overall feel of the branch being far from nice or comfortable and the fact the staff seemed closer to rude than friendly and helpful, I feel this is one of the poorer Starbucks stores in Meadowhall and perhaps even one of the worse stores I have visited, this was even shown through tables across the store being left untidy, some with half drunk drinks etc, so this branch certainly deserves a one-star rating.

A pleasing selection of home-made cakes and scones and other treats tempt the taste-buds, with panninis, cebattas and wraps being the main part of the sandwich selection. Everything is well-made and the staff are courteous and friendly. Still looks pretty good though, and head and heels above the other cafes in town (yuck) and especially when compared to what it used to look like six years ago before it became Mocca-Moocha. If you have read my other reviews you will realise I am a design snob (!). Adequate seating inside and out, all food is placed on display and the prices are reasonable in comparison to the large franchises and chains throughout the town, and i would choose this place and Grind coffee shop above them any day. It is very popular being in an ideal location. Keep on going Mocca-Moocha! I will update this review as this cafe improves!
