Update 9/7/2021, I still have not gotten a return phone call and my old vehicle is on my new policy paperwork I just got in the mail. I don't even own that vehicle anymore! I brought in all my new vehicle info on 8/5/2021 and it's now a month later. WTAF?!?!! Update 9/8/2021 I am here at the Lodi branch and speaking with Ronica. She apologized and doesn't know how that happened. BUT, she cannot offer me a refund of my broker fees even though this was her error. I called corporate to open a case and they cannot help me either. I will be in contact with the STATE DEPT OF INSURANCE, and THE BBB. NEVER AGAIN, she never even returned my calls. For someone that can't get out of the house everyday due to medical issues this was so flippin stressful & exhausting. What if I was in an auto accident? Ronica was very professional, I was greeted when I walked in and assured me that I will be helped as soon as she's done with the previous customer. She was extremely helpful, as I am under 21 she made sure I understood that the insurance would be a little on the pricy side, which is completely understandable. I was also told what would be best for me and my car and made sure I knew all the agreements and what comes along with the insurance. I had just bought a new car and was in need of new insurance anyone who knows me knows I have a terrible driving record Ronica was able to get me an insurance plan that was literally half the price of my previous insurance for the same amount of coverage! Not only was she super knowledgeable and friendly but she was super quick about it I was able to get in and out within my 30 lunch break! She was also able to get me an SR-22 and her broker fees were the most reasonable in town! I would definitely recommend going through her ESPECIALLY if you need an SR-22 or don't have the best driving record. I give Ronica 10 stars! read more

So got a new to me vehicle and my ins company sent me to CostUless in Lodi on Kettleman Lane to have someone there add my vehicle to my pre-existing ins policy. When I got there, there was a minimal wait. Which was no problem. Then Jessica helped me. She seemed very unsure of herself and the computer program she was working with. She kept interrupting her coworker/manager for advice on what to do next. She was unable to tell how much my monthly premium would go up. It took twice as long as it should have due to her I experience. She went out and took pictures of my vehicle and we went back inside, I paid her by check so that I would have a legal record of the transaction between us. And then she continued to ask the other agent for advice on what to do. All the while, while he was trying to help the customer sitting in front of him. So we finally finished and low and behold when I went to pay my bill online the next month there was no record of my new vehicle listed. I let it go and paid it stupidly thinking maybe they were just slow to input the new information. So fast forward to this month. Still no record of my new car. Well that was NOT the case. Jessica completely dropped the ball. And didn't complete the process and send the paperwork over to my ins carrier. Not sure what happened. But I am sure they cashed my check and took my money. Very dissatisfied with the customer service at Cost U Less. My advice is if you have to go for insurance at Cost U Less, don't allow Jessica to touch your paperwork. She's completely inept. Left me without any coverage for almost 2 months, while she sat on my paperwork. Needless to say I was very upset. read more

I went back for an insurance adjustment when I was late for work. Mary-Kate knew I was in a hurry and helped me fast. She is a real asset!

I recently had started a policy with cost u less insurance and after finding out I wasn't going to need the insurance at that time I attempted to cancel that same day. When I called the office I was told to call customer service and was then told by customer service to cancel with the office. When I called the office back I was advised to wait for a few days until the policy was entered into the system so I could cancel through customer service and possibly receive a refund because they are not authorized to handle that there. After waiting and then attempting to resolve the issue I was told that their computers were down and I would be contacted shortly so I went ahead and faxed the office a signature for cancellation. It was extremely difficult contacting them to do so due to them ignoring my calls assuming I was calling again for a refund. After finally receiving a call back from customer service I was told I had to pay a balance of an additional couple hundred dollars due to not canceling the same day I opened the policy. After several phone calls of me attempting to explain the situation and being made several different offers from them I finally gave up and agreed to pay the small amount of a little over 35 dollars in payments just to resolve this issue. When they called me back I was told that I had to pay the amount in full by tomorrow or it would be sent to collections after being told something entirely different. I've done some research and found that their customers are very rarely satisfied with their customer service and business in general. I was lied to and givin different information several different times by different employees. When I made 3 requests to speak with head management i was denied and told I'd receive a call from them, instead I received another call from customer service with an ultimatum. Requesting the phone recordings and call logs were also denied. I really don't understand how this company still operates with its deceitful tactics and untrained employees. I should have known what was goin on when I showed up and was given an extremely higher quote than on the phone after driving 45 minutes! read more

Most Most unprofessional place I have ever been. This place really needs to catch up with customer service. The manager started taking about his religion to us... um I don't care... I want insurance. Then he went on about him hunting and how he drinks with his employees and can still put them in check wtf... I mean really guy. To top it off he did not do my insurance properly. He mailed about 5 different things to my house that I was supposed to sign when I was there. Just a waste of time. And another thing is I'm here right now with about 5 other people waiting (all I need is to drop off papers) and one of the employees helping another customer stops what he is doing walks outside and fn smokes by the front door. . Came in on Halloween; staff was professional and friendly. I got personal attention, every detail of my policy was carefully reviewed and explained, and I got the policy I wanted at a good price. I'm actually looking forward to working with Cost-U-Less again because the staff is so friendly. I don't think many people can say that about their insurance agents.
