Always friendly service. I feel like time is always spent on my cut. I'm not a number in queue here.

Aesthetically this place is on point. Advisory Warning: you…read morecan hear the freeway from the massage room. Came from Madison to this place and wasn't disappointed. The commute was tricky even with GPS but next time - I know. They offer deals, add on specials if you receive hair services then add on a facial/massage/etc (waxing not included but provided a discount separately) for like $10-50, period. First come, First serve. They have a nice changing room - nicely appointed. Pictures being posted. Color scheme is divine. Wi-fi is UNSTABLE~ but they are working on getting the kinks out. I can't speak on hair services as I only got a facial and massage with the kid. Double beds in the massage room. Single service area for esthetician services. Lockers available to secrue your property. Sitting bench with hygiene products. Restroom connects to the front lobby and spa waiting area. Decent service providers Uniform front desk help and all are cute (kind of expected in the beauty industry) Folks are not all, "Eww, GroupOn how did you get this!" which is part of what makes it easy to patronize after the deal. They are situated between the highway and projects. This is good for a commute but not so great when you're on the massage table. I'll have my earbuds in next time to listen to my music of choice while getting work done. They have a "wash your feet" before we start process that we missed as the service providers decided not to do it to save us time but our facial finished up with time to wait so it could have been done then. But whatever. Aveda products in use.

At my appointment the stylist was clueless on how to wash, dry, style them. She wasn't going to double shampoo. After nearly two hours my hair is poofy and I am going to have to straighten and re-curl the front pieces. I was then charged over $90 for a wash and style.

This salon is way too expensive for what it is- certainly not a fancy salon. Haircuts are more…read moreexpensive than other places in the area- if they were better or the stylists took more time that would be fine, but the haircuts are nothing out of the ordinary. My main complaint is the terrible pedicures I've gotten there- one most recently done by a person who normally cuts hair. My nails were filed unevenly (even after I told her she was filing them unevenly as she worked, and that is something I would never normally complain about but it was so obvious) and the polish was bumpy because it was overworked or maybe old. She left me sitting by myself for long periods of time during the pedicure- while she went off, nowhere to be seen. This added unnecessary time to the appointment. I was giving the place another try but will never go back. I do not like throwing my money away on substandard services.

Even a bad haircut recovers over time. It's all about the customer's experience and why a person…read morechooses to spend their money where they do. I've come to the realization that I'm cheap, and thats the only viable reason why I come here. There is nothing regarding customer experience to rave about here. With military precision, you come in, they ask your name, plop you in the chair and in ten minutes you're at the cash register. At $18 I will occasionally leave a $5 tip. None of these hair jockeys will extend a simple appreciation of a THANK YOU! Notice this the next time you find yourself watching someone else pay. When you tip someone at a rate of $30/hr, is a simple "thank you" too much to expect?

Today while waiting for my son's haircut an elderly couple walk in looking for the husband to get a…read morehaircut. He's wearing his military coat and showing proudly that he's a veteran. Mind you he's probably 80 something and is hard of hearing, the music is so loud they can barely hear what the girl is telling them or be heard because older people tend to talk softly due to not knowing how loud they are. They were told that if they hadn't checked in online they couldn't have an appointment due to only one stylist... that's find understandable, but the wife said she called earlier and was told they take walk-ins, and I understand not knowing how busy it's going to get and also an olde couple not using smart phones or internet so checking in online wouldn't have worked. That being said, after this couple leaves the receptionist and the stylist (while still cutting my sons hair mind you) start talking crap about the man and his wife and said if your so proud to be a veteran you should throw it In people's faces and go back to Afghanistan if your so proud!! I have never been more disgusted and disappointed in people than I was just now. The man was at least a WW2 veteran he's never been to Afghanistan so to be so ridiculous and rude in front of customers is not acceptable in any way! I am a proud daughter and granddaughter of veterans, and a cousin to one, who actually went to Afghanistan, I will never step back in this location, and my son and husband will never get their haircuts done there again. The disrespect and utter stupidity of the comments made by these women are just disgusting. My guess is any customer that says something or doesn't follow their own rules gets disrespected once walking out of the Watertown location. I know this location gets a lot of older men clientele and they should be ashamed of how they did this infront of customers and much less in general. As a service provider they should be more respectful of their customers.
