I couldn't get out fast enough…read more I had gotten a cut from a stylist before and the cut was pretty good and the stylist was nice but you could tell she wasn't too enthusiastic. Im not to picky about my hair and I just wanted to find someone who could become familiar with what I like. I left a fantastic tip (mistake). Next time I called and made an appointment with the same stylist. When I arrived she was just beginning to cut someone else's hair and nobody even addressed I was there. They eventually said it will be a long time before I can get a haircut so scheduling an appointment was worthless. Amazingly the same thing happened the next day. This hole deserves to go out of business.

I stumbled upon the salon when traveling through the area…read more I let my pixie hair cut grow out for about a year and it needed a lot of significant work. This is a small place with only a couple chairs but the stylist did an exceptional job on my cut, she did everything that I asked , and the result is perfect. I highly recommend this salon!!!

This business understands men…read more I've had my fair share of pedicures (typically at women focused businesses) and they are definitely hit or miss. The job gets done, but you kind of feel like a second class citizen. I've literally been asked to vacate a chair during a scheduled "couples massage" at one area salon. Hammer & Nails sets the tone, the moment you walk in. Greeted at the door and immediately offered to hang my jacket. Quick to inform they are membership based so there's no confusion. Clean contemporary barbershop/salon area that leads to a lounge with a bar or the "man cave" - a dark, moody room where they offer treatments like the pedicure I had scheduled. There's also a cigar room and a large patio with poker table. TVs come with remote so you can change to whatever you'd like. Headsets available, as well. The pedicure was 4/5. I was a big fan of the paraffin wax. My feet spend a lot of time in work boots, so they appreciate the relaxing massage and warm dip that follows. I don't cut my toenails flat across, prefer rounded. Tia was very personable and friendly, wish she'd have asked how I preferred they be trimmed. But that's my only complaint. The two services membership is very fairly priced and I will sign up for it a few months out of the year. Fellas - check this place out!

I needed a last minute blow out for a wedding and found that this place had availability. They…read moredidn't have the best reviews on here, but were in desperate need. The salon was cute and clean inside. A girl checked us in and I had my friend go first since her hair was longer than mine, which I knew required longer time. Another girl greeted me and told me where I would be seated so I cooks out my stuff down. I felt like the wash part was super rushed, my stylist did not take time to massage my scalp or anything. She also didn't wrap my hair well enough so my hair was dripping walking back to the chair. Aside from that, she was lovely. She offered me drinks and snacks and chatted. We were running a bit behind schedule, so she was able to help my friend get her hair done. It's not bad for a $55 blowout with wash, definitely saved me time so that I didn't have to worry about anything.
