I'll just say not all Real Estate agents are created equal... Jesse is a real alpha, if you just let him do his thing and follow his direction y'all won't be disappointed. He helped us search for the right place and offered thoughtful, honest advice throughout the entire process. One thing we really appreciated was that we never once felt pressured to make a quick decision. Craig genuinely wanted us to find a home that we loved and that he himself would feel comfortable living in. He was also extremely diligent during the home inspection process, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Craig went above and beyond in ways we never expected. He even took the time to make a YouTube video for my husband to show him how to handle a few DIY things around the house. On top of that, he had several hour-plus phone calls with my husband just to walk through the escrow process in detail and make sure we truly understood everything that was happening. That level of patience and dedication meant a lot to us. At one point Craig had even injured his foot, and despite that he still showed up to help us view homes. That kind of commitment really says a lot about the kind of person he is. We also want to give a huge shoutout to Jeremy, our mortgage officer. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you can make, and Jeremy did an incredible job walking us through everything step by step. Our loan situation was a bit complicated in the beginning, but Jeremy gave us solid advice and helped us get to where we needed to be in less than a year. He always made sure we understood the financial side of things and felt comfortable with the decisions we were making. Jeremy also showed us that having a strong relationship with lenders and simply being a genuinely good, personable person who's easy to talk to can make a huge difference in getting a loan approved. On top of all his professional accolades and knowledge, he's someone who is approachable and easy to communicate with, which is honestly a rare quality and something that made this whole process so much smoother for us. What really stood out to us about this team is that they're not just a realtor group. They're a group of people who ended up becoming our friends throughout this journey. They made it clear that if we ever have questions down the road, they'll always be available to help, no matter how long it's been since we bought our home. That kind of long-term support means a lot. Overall, the entire team was incredibly helpful, communicative, and trustworthy. We always felt like they were truly in our corner. The constant communication between everyone meant we never went a day wondering where we were in the process. Even though we know they work with many clients, they made us feel like we were their only ones. We're so grateful for their support and guidance during such an important milestone in our lives. And when the time comes for us to buy or sell again in the future, there's no question -- this is the team we'll be working with.

Not to mention that the small, cramped, and warm laundry room is rarely cleaned and has no ventilation. the ventilation system in the bathrooms connects to each of your neighbors. So if someone is lighting up, your bathroom will wreak. The sink water pressure is uncomfortably low as well. There are major insect problems. flies on the south end of the building, termites on the north end. I typically do not enter through the front side of the building because the dumpster and trashcans aligning the south end are typically swarming with flies. These guys keep putting up self advertisement banners along the sides of the building that are not fastened well enough, causing them to disconnect and slam against windows, absolutely terrifying. The new flags along the parking lot entrance create the loudest flapping sounds. This place used to be cheap, but with the new rent increases it is cheaper to rent a house with friends and have a single room than to split the "master" room, which is only 10 square feet bigger than the other rooms

There are cockroaches, flies, and silverfish everywhere. The students living there throw trash in the hallways and refuse to use the dumpster. They are loud almost every night. They throw glass and thrash into the courtyard during parties. I've seen the inside of some other apartments with black floors from dirt and skateboards and the walls have been tagged up with spray paint. This place is expensive. Close to $900 for a single room plus electricity. They provide water, cable, and internet. Maintenance does what they can to keep up with the neglectful fraternity guys. The elevators are constantly breaking down and if you're unfortunate like me to have moved in during a weekend the elevators were down, you use the stairs OUTSIDE the complex. Also, this building is NOT handicap accessible if the elevators are down. Hallways always smell of weed, booze, trash, body odor or the typical cocktail of all 4. Tandem parking; always a negative. If you happen to have two cars, you pay an additional $60 each month for an extra parking space that isn't adjacent to your first spot. Another note about the garage parking: I'm a car guy, I take very good care of my car. Some of the overhead sewage pipes in the garage burst one weekend and my car was directly under the spill. Although management gave me $50 to get a basic detail, the waste had sat there for 4 days before it was cleaned and it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. There is still residue on the floor. After hours maintenance is extremely rude. One night, a few months ago, someone pulled the fire alarm and the entire building was subject to flooding from the sprinklers. I called the after hours service to notify them and the person I spoke with was the same miserable, old woman who hates her life. No compassion. The floors and walls were completely destroyed by the sprinklers and took almost a month to be repaired. I could go on and on about the bad experiences I've had here only to make the point: DO NOT LIVE HERE.

The maintenance man, Aaron, has been very friendly and helpful when something needs to be fixed. The reason I'm actually writing this Yelp is mainly because I want to bring to the attention of the managers of Piedra Del Sol an issue with the regulations. I live in an apartment with 3 other girls and we all have cars. If you were to take a look at the parking structure on any given day, you'd notice all the available spots. Part of the reason could be the high cost of having underground parking, which is also very convenient. My issue is that I was not permitted to purchase a parking spot in the garage because my two other roommates already purchased a tandem spot. Let me remind you that there are at least 15 spots available, but management doesn't want to offer them to more than 2 people per apartment, which is an unintelligent business approach. This is a first-come-first-served garage, and I got in line to purchase a spot one of the first days these spots were open. As of right now, you are losing a resident for next year (I can't break my contract any sooner) and most importantly, I will be warning future students not to choose Piedra del Sol when they're looking for apartments.

Our glass sliding door has had a giant hole in it the entire time living here because the building shifted and maintenance doesn't ever come to fix anything. I have called and left messages for about 6 months, and they have come once to look at it, take measurements, and probably threw out those notes once they left. If you plan on receiving anything in the mail, don't expect to receive it when it arrives because the lazy people that work here rarely get the mail slips to you in a timely fashion. My package slips usually get in my mailbox about a week after the package has arrived. Once you get the slip in the mailbox to get your package from the lounge during the hours they are open, you are going to have to wait several days to get it because of course they only come for maybe ten minutes a day. Honestly, I hope these people don't get paid for working here, they are worthless. I have never written a bad review, or any review for that matter, but I really hope this helps someone in their decision to live elsewhere. If I had the money to pay about $200 more a month, I would do so in a heartbeat. If you do choose to live in Piedra......goodluck, you will need it.
