Had the most amazing time at the show yesterday! I am still stumped on how Kayla did these tricks! I'm trying to remind myself that she can't really read minds....or can she??? Im not too sure now! Truly so entertaining, funny, and mind blowing. We will definitely be back for another show!!

    Cosmic Underground Fun with Harrison!

I decided to see a show with a group of my friends for my birthday and OMG we had the BEST time! Harrison continuously cracked us up - he's not just a magician, he is SO funny and his improv game is on point! And the magic is AMAZING!! The space is wonderful (I prefer intimate spaces and it couldn't have been more perfect), love the cosmic theme, and they even gave me the CUTEST stuffed alien birthday present! Hurry up and go see a show here before they blow up, because they absolutely WILL! THANK YOU for making my birthday special, Cosmic Underground Theatre!

Harrison infuses improv into his act and Kayla does some of the most insane mind-reading I've ever witnessed.

I did my…read moreresearch and wanted to check out the performance bar beforehand - PSA you do not need a ticket for this and can go enjoy drinks and tricks any time! This was so cool but intimate and small so not much space and fills up quickly. The speakeasy door is also so cool though a line will likely form outside right before shows so be prepared for that. The show itself was so impressive, as were the magicians that came up to your table to do tricks beforehand. Drinks were also great. The vip performance after the show was also nice and intimate. Everything was great and so much fun!

I thought the tickets were worth that perk alone in addition to being front and center. The talents were superb! I truly enjoyed every act. I loved the pre-show magic tricks at each table. It made the experience very intimate and engaging. I loved that the MC called out each and every celebration that night! There were food and drinks available for order, but kind of pricey (for example, ~$20+ for a shrimp cocktail). I ordered the earl grey non alcoholic drink, which was good!

I can't say enough good things about our visit to the Logan Theatre…read more It felt like going back in time to see a movie in a good way, along with all the modern comforts of today like a huge snack, bar, and an actual full-service bar. This place shows great movies, and still really has a TON of the charm that unfortunately, the music box and other places have lost, plus even without having the newest electronic seats that other theaters brag about, the seats here are actually really comfy. We will definitely go back and I can't wait for my next visit.

I saw the Blackhawks win a Stanley Cup there a decade ago and have vivid memories of the crowd spilling out of the theater onto Milwaukee Avenue to celebrate. But honestly, this place is TRASH as a movie theater. The screens are uniformly way too dark. Go see a vivid superhero movie and it looks like it was shot through a dark scrim. That's OK, though. The sound will deafen you even as you see nothing but a dark grey muddle. The cheapness extends to the amenities. They use nasty-ass bottom-of-the-barrel liquid soap in their bathrooms. Have a slash, wash your hands, continue eating your popcorn and congrats -- you now get to eat soap-flavored popcorn. The horrific synthetic small of this pink industrial slime will not leave your fingers for DAYS. Were you hoping that a neighborhood movie theater would have staff on hand to control the feral moviegoers talking on their phones and causing a ruckus during your film's climax? Haha, good luck with that. The AMC a mile away on Western is one of the worst places I have ever seen a movie. What frustrates me about the Logan is that it COULD be GREAT ... but simply isn't. All because they're cheap about their projection equipment and basic amenities.

A spot where someone could walk in, maybe order a drink, and listen to some music without first opening Ticketmaster and shelling out half your paycheck to their junk fees. Some of their performances are free, and some have a reasonable cover of $10-20. There are also performances every night, sometimes even in the afternoon. The vibe inside is dimly lit and very old-timey. Even the bathroom had a bar of soap! I haven't seen a bar outside of a private residence! For sure, the vibe fits the history. Green Mill used to be a spot visited by Big Al himself. Yes, there are still connected tunnels used by the mob, no, you cannot see them. In terms of the bar, do not expect anything special. Their menu is limited to the beers, wines, and champagnes they have. They have spirits, but no cocktail menu - while they *might* be able to mix something simple like a Manhattan, be prepared for basic drinks along the lines of a gin & tonic. The service was fine, but a little abrupt. Not the best welcoming or inviting, but gruff and surly in a way that is probably cute to regulars, but less so to newcomers like myself. Final verdict: Green Mill is a place one comes for the music and the vibe and to get away from life for a little bit. It appears to be a third place for many regulars. It's worth giving a shot, as long as one is ready for an experience that's a little rough around the edges, arguably by design.

I asked if we just sit anywhere, and he seemed pretty bothered and just nodded yes. We sat down and no one came to our table so we just walked out. I could have handled it any way. The old me would have called Him out and would have asked him To handle any problem man to man. He missed out on a good tip. God has blessed me with success and I have worked hard to get to where I am and to get what I have. I am very generous, specially when I start drinking. This guy who hates his job missed out and I will continue to live my life and he will continue to be miserable on his job. I don't understand people who are in the service industry and treat people this way. I hope he sees the mistake and treats people better
