At an emotional time for us, Pets Remembered was very kind and understanding. Their online FAQ explains the process and options and on the phone they were very kind and calming. The cremation was performed quickly and the box, clay paw imprints, ink paw print, and snippet of fur were perfect. They also have pick-up and delivery options.

Oh man. As a veterinarian, I'm not normally on "this side" of the veterinary table. I had to put my…read moreown beloved 14-year-old pit bull mix to sleep, and I had contacted another cremation service - while they were great at communication, they couldn't fit us in at 6 pm for dropping off my dog's body. It was frustrating, because I really didn't want my family to have to deal with "much" during this trying time. (e.g., didn't want my dog's body in the garage overnight). A veterinary colleague recommended "Pets Remembered Cremation Service" and I had an amazing experience. They were super responsive, had clear communication in a time of grief, and had an after hours fee which allowed me to drop off my dog's body at a time that worked for us. When I got there, they were so compassionate and empathetic, and really treated my dog's body with respect. I really appreciated the space (e.g., grieving room) and them greeting me at the door with guerney (with blankets and a pillow on it). I got my dog's ashes back the next day and the presentation was beautiful - a beautiful bag, temporary cardboard tube for his ashes, and the most heartwarming nose print and paw print memorial. It made the passing of our dog was made so much more peaceful because of Pets Remembered Cremation Service. THANK YOU for the service you offer to pet owners and veterinary professionals alike.

Rather than CALLING ME to see if it was okay with moving forward, they ABORTED the babies and then CHARGED ME FOR IT. I have never been so frustrated, disappointed and sad ever. They made me call an 800 poison control number that charged me $89 up front to tell me this was a potentially lethal dose (which google already told me) and gave me a case number for them to call and get instructions for care. they came back with a suggestion of 48hrs of fluids and monitoring to the tune of $4800. I about died and told them I'll take her to my regular vet now that theres nothing to do but monitor and fluids. When I called the local vet, they followed up with the same 800 poison control and were told they recommended outpatient monitoring with fluids and meds. Not 48hrs in patient. They quoted $300-$400. I was charged $150 for absolutely nothing and another $89 for them to have an online vet decide what to do and then choose to do differently to make the maximum potential money? She would note and let the office know. 3 days later I called my card company and NO info was exchanged. Thankfully I am a long-standing good customer, and, on my word, the double charge was deleted. The office mgr. called, finally. Excuses, excuses her day off, no apology. She said she would handle it. Seemed more concerned that both charges would be removed, I assured her only one. It's nice to know where their priorities lie. Be careful, their billing practices seem shoddy at best and their attitude, well, she wanted me to feel she was doing me a favor by correcting her mistake. This is a chain, never again
