WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PARK!!!…read more My son and I took our Crown Chicken orders to the park to eat on this brisk but sunny day. Neither of us had ever been. We pulled up and parked by the (very nice and clean) playground. Then we walked and talked and took photos on our way to the first bench that we came to. Friendly ducks came right up to us while we were chowing down. We put some lettuce and rice on the ground for them. We then proceeded walk around the beautiful lake, taking many pictures as we went along. Others were walking, running, and fishing. We all were all making the most of this lovely Spring day! What a pleasant one in April :) Definitely coming back to this hidden gem of a park!

Fortunately, when I stopped by before I played a round nearby, I stood wide-eyed as I gazed before the vast building filled with plastic and merchandise. There was quite an impressive selection of discs and they even had some X-outs that caught my eye. As far as I know they had every major brand in stock and some. Prices were fair but when standing in a room filled with all these options, it's hard not to say no to just picking up one disc. Everything was nicely organized and the staff was friendly and attentive. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. I know I'll be coming back if I have some extra time and money.

Two items of note while we covered 10,000 steps on this day: A few beautiful old homes still on park grounds. I don't recall any signage describing why and what they were. A nice renovated covered bridge. The park itself lacked much signage after the first 10 minutes of walking. We had no idea what direction to go to get back to the main parking lot, which was frustrating.
