It a neighborhood pool and with the summers so hot and humid, it a great oasis. My boy learned to swim there and even won the 5-6 year old diving championships! They had a little snack shack and steak night on Saturday's. Yes, it is indeed, it's Mr. Rogers's neighborhood. One fond memory.

Can't possibly recommend this pool. Membership fees are outrageous considering the size of the…read morepool, the crumbling facilities, and the fact that every community event costs extra. If you want to be on a swim team, then I guess this is your way in, but to me it's just not worth it. Go to the Glenn Dale splash park, or one of the many other community facilities. They're in much better shape and the fees aren't eye-watering ($800 for 3 months and they don't open until noon even in the summer). It's really shameful the lack of information they provide to new members, and they don't offer day passes to look around before committing. If you want to bring a guest, they screen the address to ensure they're not a Bowie resident, which was really gross to me. The city should just buy this dinky pool up and open it to the community. Additionally, they don't do background checks on new members, which seems like a no-brainer for something you're paying so much for and have your kids hanging out at. During one swimming session, I noticed a man sitting near the pool filming people on his phone. He wasn't there with anyone (we left at the same time) and he didn't swim. And the place is entirely run by high school kids -- I never once saw an adult outside of the manager's office.

The Community Center needs to have a review to reflect the upgrade of the walking/hiking trails…read morethat have been constructed. Tucker Road has a ice skating rink along with baseball/football fields and tennis courts. But my main interest in coming here for the last three years has been to exercise, they provide many different paths at the center with many circuitous routes. I like to circle the entire property when walking and this amounts to approximately 3/4 of a mile and there are many activities and games being played so you're not just looking at greenery around you, which is never a bad thing. I am pleased with the progress of TRCC and am rating on the presumed upgrades they will continue to make. Overall I see it as an average to above average area to get a nice walk in. And what's wrong with that.

White Plains Regional Park…read more This review is so relevant and, given that it appears to be one of the few reviews, it's long overdue! The White Palins Regional (public) Park is nestled in Saint Charles Maryland, at the corner of Billingsley and St. Charles Pkwy. This park is nothing short of a community gem that's enjoyed by SOMD families, local recreational sport teams, golf, tennis and pickle ball enthusiasts, as well as, skate park tricksters and our canine friends. This park offers the following: * A 9 hole golf course with putting greens, a driving range, golf carts, a pro shop with a food and snack cafe * A state of the art football and soccer field; plus additional fields. * Tennis and Pickle ball courts * Dog Park * Playgrounds and Tot lots * Softball fields * Skate Park * Trails * Plenty of parking The tennis and pickle ball players are friendly and talented. The grounds crew do a great job and often check in with park participants to ensure that they're enjoying the facilities.
