Yes, not unlike many other doctor offices you might have to wait longer than you'd like in the…read morewaiting room but Dr. Dickson is worth the wait. If waiting is an issue for you, then select your appointment time first appointment in the morning or first appointment after lunch. In 1990, while stationed in Panama, I contracted toenail fungus. After two military podiatrists treated me with Lamisil, followed by three local podiatrists also treating me with Lamisil --- all failing to cure me, 35 years later Dr. Dickson knew exactly what type of medication would be right to treat the fungus and cured me. Thank God for him. Dr. Dickson performed a Cheilectomy on my left foot. After the surgery I had full range of motion and it took the normal 6 to 12 months recovery to be completely swelling and pain-free. Great job! Now I can walk, hike, run, and dance without pain. Dr. Dickson is top notch in his field and takes the time to explain in detail your issues and potential solutions. You can tell by his demeanor that he actually cares about his patients. While at his office, I had him fit me for some insoles. If you're having foot pain or other issues, see Dr. Dickson. Don't waste your time and money at the Good Feet Store. They're not doctors and what they sell you will only mask your condition rather than eliminate it. As for Dr. Dickson's staff, all winners.

Medically, he left both big toes bleeding at the end of his treatment, and he seemed offended by our requests for Band-Aids before putting my socks back on. Terrible quality of care. Stay away.

MILLER, D.P.M, located @ 7101 South Staples Street Suite 103. From the time I arrived at 9:15 am for my 9:30am appointment the front desk clerk Linette, did not even greet me as I walked in, nor did she smile. I proceeded introduce myself and let her know I was here for my appointment. Her words "just have a seat" I asked if she wanted me to sign in "No just have a seat" and I complied. The next lady who called me back at 0920 had some professionalism to her, and took my blood pressure, asked to me remove my boots and socks, which I obliged. 35 minutes later 0955 in comes Dr. Miller, no apologies for the wait, no good morning, no how are you doing/been just "oh you were here last week right" (which I had not be to his office since June 6,2023, which is when he gave me foot injections that caused the worst pain of my life, and I've had 3 knee surgeries.) Anyway....he continued on with a piss poor bedside manner, arms folded, shrugging his shoulders then he says "what you want me to do? there's nothing else I can do for you, only thing left is surgery". I begin telling him about the shoe inserts I was fitted for yesterday, and he cut me off to say "they won't work, I guarantee you they will not work, that's only going to make everything worst" as his face turned red (visibly annoyed) like I was wasting his time, by coming to his office seeking an alternative treatment for my flat feet. At this point I see this appointment was indeed pointless, and he was of no help to me and didn't care about my struggles or my pain. I start putting my socks and shoes back on as he walked out the room. No mentions of a goodbye, or thanks for coming, or good luck, or nothing. So, I asked for print outs of my patient records, he obliged, and I went back to the rude and unprofessional front desk clerk (Linette) and got the notes, as I read to myself what he put on my note which said "at this time patient refused treatment" I said to myself (not too Linette, who was the only person in hearing range) and while I'm looking down at the paper "wow this guy is an asshole" and walked out the building. Do you know this petty, unprofessional so-called DOCTOR.... called where I receive care my primary care and said he wanted to file a complaint that I was screaming up and down saying he was an asshole and I was being unprofessional. Which is a lie! Though I did call him a "asshole" it wasn't to him, and I didn't yell or scream, nor was I being unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone going to see this guy. Save your time and go elsewhere because it's clear they only care for who they want to instead of treating everyone with respect and professionalism.
