Based upon a physical examination, he diagnosed me w/ a joint capsule injury. My treatment included a prescription for anti-inflammatory and over a dozen ultrasound therapy sessions. Midstate has a small-office feel, and the staff were very kind. I just wasn't seeing results. After 5 weeks of treatment with worsening symptoms, I visited Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic. While both podiatrists performed a gait analysis, Cortese took x-rays and fitted me with orthotics right away. I experienced almost immediate relief from the orthotics. Based upon my experience with these 2 podiatrists, I would recommend Cortese over Midstate.
