We had a short amount of time to plan our event, and he said yes even when it was probably inconvenient to him. The time in between booking him and our event he was gracious enough help us work through a menu that was specialized to our crowd without any question. He was timely to respond to us even when his family was going through a short term difficult situation as well. He is absolutely dependable when it comes to communication. The day of our event, David and his family showed up in a timely manner prepared and ready to go. He set up in a timely manner as well. During the event he was prompt to make sure our crowd was taken care of and greeted which is a huge plus when hiring companies. His food itself was honestly the best food I have probably ever had. There was not one item offered that was not clearly thought through and perfected. Every single item was prepared perfectly. We had him make ham and cheese sliders which are not even on his typical menu, and they absolutely were hands down the best ham and cheese slider i have ever had. Over all, do yourself a favor and hire David and his catering staff. There are a million incredible things I could say about them and none of them would be enough to wrap up what they did for us tonight. He left us and our crowd more than satisfied. To David directly- thank you for making such a hectic night, easy. Showing up on time and doing a job well is hard to find these days so I am personally thankful that you were able to greatly exceed all of my company's expectations. I will be recommending you to every single person we know. Thanks Again!

Choosing Avenue D Events was single handedly the best decision we made to ensure a seamless wedding…read moreexperience! My husband and I knew that we wanted to have a beautiful stress-free wedding planning process and the team at Avenue D delivered! The "Everything But The Dress" Package was truly a life-saver! As our in house wedding planners Laura and Samantha ensured that everything was taken care of from start to finish! This meant that we received vetted, top tier vendors from across the Birmingham Area without having to manage complicated contracts and timelines. Although we were not living in Birmingham, they worked with us to ensure that every detail was handled including in-person and virtual vendor meeting scheduling and day of timeline coordination. All we had to do throughout the process was show up! What we were most impressed by, however, was the kindness and attentiveness shown by Laura, Samantha, and Allie (our design and decor expert) in the weeks leading up to the wedding. You all were a heaven-sent dream team! I can truly say that on the day of our wedding, we were not stressed one bit. We were able to enjoy the entire day knowing that everything was taken care of. This is such a rare experience and all of the credit goes to the team at Avenue D. Thank you Laura, Samantha, Allie, and Chuck for curating the perfect wedding experience for us from start to finish!

There's a manager that's a white male that wears a bandanna with the earrings that has the holes…read morein them. He is racist and has an attitude problem. Here's why I said this. I ordered a chicken pesto with no tomatoes. I waited 30 minutes for a chicken pesto. I waited 30 minutes because my sandwich was given to the wrong person, and the lady bought it up to the counter and said "this is not mine". I watched them put the sandwich off to the side, and about 15 minutes, one of the associates asked me, "Sir, are you waiting on anything?" I said yes, a chicken pesto. She then went to the back of the counter and grabbed the sandwich that was out waiting. I asked her if this was the sandwich that the lady said was not hers. The associate told me no and laughed, which I knew it was. I asked them to politely remake it, so the manager remade it, and I watched him slam the chicken on top of the flatbread, as if he was mad that he had to remake it. During the remake of this sandwich. Another customer had an order being fulfilled, so my order and his order was bought out together by the manager. He asked which one of you guys had the chicken Pasco. I raised my hand and said "me". He gave the customer my sandwich and gave me the customer sandwich. He basically switched it on accident. The customer went to his car. The customer came back from his car and said this was not mine. He caught an attitude and said, " I asked y'all who had what, so why did y'all tell me that was not the right one?" All witnesses agreed that we told him that we told him the right thing. It was a mistake solely on him. He rushed to the back and had an attitude and went missing for about three minutes. I don't know what he went. Go do for three minutes he could've went grab a weapon or hit his vape or something because he was moving pretty weird. So, I politely asked another associate to make my sandwich because I did not want his negative energy touching something I had to eat. After my sandwich was made, I asked, "I can I speak to him," and I said from man to man and a customer to an associate, " I told him that he did not have to handle that situation with the attitude as if it was overwhelming or something we did wrong." And he said, "And just for that, I'm expecting you to leave my store right now." I said, " OK, I will leave," but that does not make it OK to handle the situation like that, and he got mad. The only reason why I did not admit me because I was still waiting on a smoothie to be made that they forgot to. But He called me a boy. He asked me what's up and what I was trying to do. Once he saw that, I was not afraid of his words; He said that he was going to call the police. All of his employees were asking him "why are you going to call the police for? he did not do anything". He initiated threats and violence by saying, "What's up? What are you trying to do?" I don't want to lose my job behind this. so I asked him what he meant by that? I asked him was that a threat and I also asked him is he willing to kill me behind this situation? He didn't didn't say anything he got scared to go to tropical smoothie he told do y'all have a At the end of the day, I have about seven witnesses that would say the same story that I just typed here, so whoever that guy is needs to be held accountable and does not need to be a manager in my opinion. Luckily, it wasn't someone else he started a problem with. Food was good though

Lamar and his team came with decor, table settings, plates, utensils, lighting for pictures and an aura that's contagious. The food presentation alone deserves its own review! Trying to be present amongst the presences of others, while getting content was tricky within this situation. It was a "surprise" birthday dinner for one of sister's, so hopefully my photos and videos are given a glimpse of an experience I wish upon everyone's future. Bon appétit? I did so let's get into the courses. Course #1 (Appetizers): 1.) Eight-Eleven Signature House Salad -Everything about the house salad tanged refreshed especially with the signature mixed dressing. 2.) Hot Cheesy Shrimp Spinach Dip with Toasted Bread Points. -The Bread Points within itself was ran through the table about 5x times. It added the crunch substitution for chips. It was toasted never burnt! The Spinach Dip gave gourmet with crispness around the circler perimeter. 3.) Cajun Crab Stuffed Eggs -Do you see the selection of crab meat on top of the eggs? Absolutely no corners were cut and money well spent! *Reference my picture* Main Course: 1.) Rosemary Dijon Seared Lamb-Chops -You're either an expert at lamb-chop making or you're not! These were pan seared not pan fried lamb chops. Which was a smart decision on the chef's part as I was consuming other palates from that course. 2.) Southern Fried Lobster Tail -I'm a saucy gal! If the lobster tail had a tangy sauce such aioli, or some sort on the side, it would have made a world of a difference for me. 3.) Shrimp, Sausage and Crawfish Jambalaya -Jambalaya is normally spicy but not at Eight-Eleven! The variety of meats within the jambalaya was a precise replacement for the piquant taste. 4.) Roasted Broccolini -My least favorite as I don't care for asparagus so the texture reminded me of it. Regardless of how I felt others spoke highly of how it was succulent. Dessert Course: 1.) Pecan White Chocolate Blondie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream topped Hennessy Maple Butter Sauce. -The dessert that sealed The deal! Lamar could have packed that into a pint container and shipped it to Memphis. You could savor every burst of flavor described. It truly was magic in a cup!
