Katherine is a true gem of an esthetician. I went in with dull, dry and congested skin but came out with a bright, healthy, smooth complexion! Even a week afterwards my skin still felt brighter and more vibrant, and HYDRATED. Right from the beginning she was very warm & inviting, making you feel comfortable to leave your skin in her hands, and she assessed my skin properly before deciding on the best treatment. I also really appreciated that she started gentle on my first session, and informed me of the importance of gradually conditioning the skin before bringing out the big guns! (I've had others ignore the fact that I have rosacea and proceed to pull out all the fancy gadgets including HOT towels which basically just irritated/burned me...) I'm already booked for another session and looking forward to more progress!! She is incredibly well versed in her products and services, and educated me throughout the facial on what was being done or used and why... Love that!! I like a good relaxation service but also find it very helpful when a professional takes time to walk me through what's being done on my skin. Having said that, it was ALSO incredibly relaxing! She has a great, confident yet gentle touch which also sets her apart from many others I've experienced. Last thing I want to mention is her beautiful studio- It's an unexpected delight despite being a little hidden! The interior is super cozy, has all the inviting amenities like coffee, tea, water, treats.. the works! Her treatment room is immaculate, professional and and beautifully... such a relaxing treat!! read more

Corrective Skin Care by Katherine - Some of my cute Dermadality products! - Acne Treatment Near Me - Oceanside, California

I have eczema on my forehead and both sides of my nose. I've tried different procedures and products through the years. I'm always skeptical when somebody recommend a new product. My reply is always "I have very sensitive skin " or something along that to avoid a potential negative reaction to skin care product. Katie recommended skin care regimen and product. I trusted Katie and her recommendations. That was the best decision I have made to help my eczema. Thank you Katie, you have no idea the positive impact your knowledge, help, advice and recommendations have made in my life. Not just in my skin but my self-esteem as well. YOU'RE AMAZING !!!! read more

This gal is the best in the business! Previous to finding Katie I had been getting facials for years with no drastic change in my skin. I've always had acne as a young teenager and into my adult years-a result of having oily skin. I was very self conscious of all the dark spots I had collected over the years. First time meeting her I was blown away by how knowledgeable she really is on all things skin related. She put me on a skincare regimen which consisted of regularly seeing her for a pumpkin/micro facial along with the home skin care products she recommended (this stuff is amazing) With in a couple of months I was acne free! I have been seeing Katie as well as using her products for almost 2 years now and it's been the best experience every single time. Katie is a really talented esthetician she will make sure you get the skin you always wanted. read more

First off, she has desserts and a keurig. Sold. Ok but on a related note, she is super friendly and sociable and was really good about talking me through what I need to get my skin where I want it to be. It was my first facial ever and she was very patient and answered all my questions during the consultation. I'm pretty unknowledgeable with skin care and beauty stuff so I had LOTS of questions. The best part is that she did NOT try to push products on me. She figured out what I had at home and if it was a good product she did not try to sell me any of her stuff to replace it, and that is a HUGE plus for me because I hate sales people. She rescued a formerly abused dog which means she's a good person so ya knowwww she's a good trustworthy person. MY FACE felt SO SMOOTH after our first session. Still feels silky smooth after four days and a lot of the scabs on my face sorta just fell off after the second day. I'm excited for the next s read more

Katherine is just exquisite, sadly I moved away from seeing her but I have yet to find someone to live up to her knowledge of skincare and the ability to tailor the needs of an individual so well. If I didn't live states away I would honestly visit just to get a facial. You're the best Katherine! read more

I LOVE going in for my visits with Katherine! Her new studio is so pretty and most importantly relaxing, which is what getting a facial should be all about ! I first saw Katherine about a year ago for my first facial ever (crazy I know , idk why I hadn't had one sooner ) because I had started dealing with some cystic acne on my chin and jaw , after my first session with her I immediately started using all of the skincare products that she recommended and seeing her as often as I could , since then I have seen a huge difference and have not had any major flare ups since and am finally comfortable in my own skin again all thanks to her read more

Katie is a skin magician! I have dealt with horrible cystic acne my whole teenage life, into my adult life. Now I have rosacea. I've tried all types of treatments and products with no truly visible improvements. After my first facial I saw an improvement. Her facials are always the most relaxing and therapeutic escape from my two little ones btw. She has peeled me multiple times, where layers of my skin come off (safely)! It's so awesome! The facials and micro and pumpkin peels and deeper peels make you look so fresh. On top of her treatments, the skincare line she uses is my absolute favorite. Just using the face wash, toner and (best ever) moisturizer, cleared up my rosacea in three days! She set me up with a whole customized system which has drastically improved my sensitive skin. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable Katie is and how much she really cares for and loves improving your skin. She is a hidden gem that I will never leave! Thank you, Katie, for helping me feel more confident in my skin. read more

I found Katherine through Yelp and had my first facial by her. Clean facility and I like how she doesn't push her products. She did a nice follow up on how my facial went. She offers a lot of different services. I like how she works with you on what your needs are at the moment. She's very knowledgeable, humble and not intimidating. She spent a lot of time with me. I scheduled my 2nd facial with her. read more

Katherine is approachable and intelligent. I had such a good experience at my first facial for acne and scarring correction. The products she used and the science she shared behind her methods was fantastic. My inflamed skin immediately calmed down after one treatment. She's exactly what my skin needs to get under control. I'm really glad I found her and can't wait to see the progress we make together! read more

No nonsense, no gimmicks skin care, products and facials that works! Plus, Katherine is super funny and entertaining. It's affordable, so I can go regularly, and this keeps my skin in great shape. I've seen an improvement in just the last few months! read more

I can't say enough good things about Katherine. Not only is she highly educated in what she does she has amazing bedside manner and puts you at ease. I was nervous when I first started trying facials but after seeing Katherine over the past year I trust her judgement and I learn something new about skin every time I'm there. She does an amazing job and is very sweet. If you're considering any type of treatment, go to Katherine! read more

I've been seeing Katherine for facials since 2016, and the condition of my skin has never been better. Her customized treatments and product recommendations have my skin looking brighter, & feeling smoother after every treatment; & my knowledge of products and ingredients is always expanding thanks to Katherine. I'm approaching age 28 and spend most of my free time in the sun, and she's saved my skin from my own bad habits! Now more than ever I can see that preventive skincare is the way to go if you want to protect your skin from signs of aging. Thanks for always hooking it up Katie! read more

I am so glad I found Kathrine! My skin feels and looks amazing. She told me exactly what I needed for treatment and got me on the right skincare products. Even called after to follow up. I am so very happy with her and will definitely be back. read more

Katie is so incredibly knowledgeable. I've seen her for multiple facials and when I noticed the skin on my neck unfortunately aging before I wanted it to I went straight to Katie. She worked with me and got me setup with products to use at home with our ultimate goal of a TCA peel to tighten and brighten the skin. I couldn't be happier with the results! She really is such a professional and a great coach through the whole process. I highly highly recommend her!! read more

Love Katherine! I have done all my research with skin care and Katherine is knowledgeable with everything related to skin. Going to her was honestly my last resort before accutane. So glad I did! My skin's texture and tone has improved big time and my scars are fading faster than ever. Being Asian, my acne scars would take 3-6 months to fade. With her facials and recommended skin care, it takes a couple weeks or a month! That is a HUGE improvement. She always looks out for you, she recommends cost-effective ways to use her product etc. I would definitely recommend her! Not to mention her studio is so relaxing. If you are struggling with acne, do not look anywhere else you have found your perfect esthetician read more

Corrective Skin Care by Katherine - Before and after pictures. One month difference. Left is right after our session, right is today! - Acne Treatment Near Me - Oceanside, California

Katherine is an amazing aesthetician. I read her reviews on Yelp and there was so much positive feedback, I had to go see her for my skin needs (i.e. random breakouts, uneven skin tone). When you meet her, she immediately makes you feel comfortable! She explains every step of the facial process, products she use, and what to expect post facial. She even follows-up with you to ensure that your skin is doing well. Katherine also individualizes your skin care plan and helps to revitalize your skin. Her products are non-irritating and they smell yummy! Katherine is truly a hidden gem in Oceanside. I am pretty picky about who touches my face. I wouldn't trust anyone else. :) read more

I am so happy I found her. I am super picky when it comes to this kind of stuff, I do extended research because I am an in the same field as her.. anyway I'm so happy that I came to her and my skin is looking better and it's making me look forward for our next session read more

I have been seeing Katie for almost two years now. Katie is amazing. I see a difference in my skin every time I leave! I have been working with her to shrink a spider bite scar on my face and it's seriously invisible now compared to when I first started seeing her. She is very knowledgeable and her place is always immaculate and soothing. Thank you Katie! I can't wait until my next session! read more

It's been a week since my facial with Katie and my skin still looks so vivacious and feels super healthy. I was able to immediately notice how much more breathable and happy my skin was after our session. Katie was also extremely knowledgeable in home care regiments and took time to help me determine what I needed to keep my skin on the right track. Such an enjoyable and relaxing experience from the moment I walked into her absolutely adorable shop. read more

I am an esthetician myself and I will only go to Katherine now. She is no doubt, the Black Belt and Master of Peels and Corrective Skin Care in Southern California. I have now had a total of 4 peels done with her and closely followed her home care recommendation (which she made simple) in order to properly prep my skin for each peel. I literally can feel my real skin now that was trapped underneath heaps of dead skin and it has such a different texture and glow than before. I have done plenty of peels on myself but have never achieved this level of skin health. Anyone who is lucky enough to get a treatment from her -- trust that you have found the best! read more

I've been seeing Katie for my skin the last 3 years and as a surfer/someone's who's in the sun all the time she has saved my skin! My skin looks completely transformed since I started going to her and I can't thank her enough for her talent and knowledge of skincare. Thank you so much Katie!!! read more

I usually don't write reviews so this is huge! I've had many facials in the past but stopped going because of the distance boy was I so happy to find Katherine since I live in Oceanside. I've suffered from acne since my teenage yrs now as an adult in my late 30's I wouldn't think it would get this bad. Just after my 2nd visit I saw a tremendous difference! my skin was clearer and brighter. Katherine is amazing and has an awesome personality I will continue to see her and will add before and after pictures. read more

I've been seeing Katherine (I call her Katie) since October 2017. I have cystic acne with deep clogged pores that are so hard to extract. However majority of my breakouts are on my chin. I'm also trying to soften fine lines and reverse pigmentation from the sun and acne scars. She didn't go crazy on my entire face but customized each treatment to my individual skin issues. I also followed her advice on certain habits to get my skin clear. The monthly treatments were accompanied with the skin care line she uses in her room. The daily routine she easily lays out makes my regimen something I look forward to in the am and pm. I absolutely trust her judgment when we decide on treatments. She is well versed in skin care and passionate about her career. Every person needs something different for their skin and she knows what will work best for the goal you are trying to achieve. As long as you are committed to the in- room treatments and home care it is quite easy to achieve beautiful skin. Just try to remind yourself that skin care can take some time so be patient with yourself. Looking in the mirror every day I forget sometimes what skin issues I used to see, especially when my skin is constantly improving. Katie is a friendly, wonderful and educated esthetician to work towards your skin care dreams. She's a pleasure to see and so easy to talk with. She's a consummate professional and I look forward to my appointments. I used to be an esthetician so it is a big deal for me to put my skin in another's hands so freely. read more

This review is long over due! I was looking for an aesthetician that focuses on in-depth treatment and getting down to business on my skin (not wasting time on the fluff like hand massages and paraffin wraps, I mean those are great but come on, I'm here for my face to get as much treatment as possible and I want it to get all the attention of the professional I'm paying). Enter Katie! She is extremely knowledgeable and creates an menu/plan specific to my faces needs. Combining peals, microderm, masks, etc, etc... -whatever is needed. Honestly, her prices are a steel for the expertise and combinations of treatments offered. And OMG, I love her pumpkin peal!!! I've got rosacea, hyperpigmentation, a bit of scarring from acne and she has been able be aggressive enough to work magic on my issues while not aggravating and even calming down my rosacea (that's not easy and I've found many aestheticians don't know how to deal with this combo and actually make noticeable progress or not make the redness flair up). Not to mention Katie is a huge sweetheart and has a very gentle touch so it is still so relaxing and enjoyable. I love coming to her, I love her, you will too. read more

I've been coming to Katie for about 3 years now for facials/microdermabrasion/peels. She's done numbers of different procedures on me and I ALWAYS leave feeling wonderful. She's very personable and really takes into consideration every aspect of you daily life while implementing everything she knows your face needs. It's such a relaxing, calm environment when you go see her. Which is exactly what you want when getting a facial.
