There is such a selection its awesome! Most of these I had as a kid and so it's great to see them still around. I think the ones I got particularly excited to see where the chocolate flavoured fruits - sort of tasty and horrible all at the same type, but you still eat them, which is quite an achievement for a sweet, don't you think. You can even ask for 2 ounces, a quarter or half a pound of any sweets you desire, if you really want to go back down memory lane. There are also sweets that haven't been around so long, but still yummy!

Everything from Strawberry Bon Bons, Drumsticks, Sherbet Flying Saucers to Uncle Joe's Mint Balls never fails to impress. The smell of sweets as you enter and the rainbow of colours is truly fantastic. Plus, if you like ice cream, it's all handmade here and they offer many favourite and unique flavours. And the same applies to sweets too - some flavours were out of the ordinary, including Dandelion and Burdock favloured boiled sweets but as they sounded ever more odd, they sounded ever more exciting. Time to grab a bag and re-visit memory lane at the appropriately named Sweet Memories!

Not the greatest looking shop on the outside, and a little off the beaten track. not too far. Ohhh and when you do go visit . One stick of rock with Trevor in the centre please hee hee.

I liked the assortment, however, it was missing some licorice and some hard candies, therefore, by the old school UK definition this is not actually "dolly mix" I bought this from an import store for a lot of $$$. I bought some for Mother's Day for my mom and although it did bring her back to her childhood I could tell that she was looking for those other pieces.

The chocolate shop is all about luxury and ideal if you are looking for a special gift or just want to treat yourself (and quite rightly too). The hand-crafted jewellery is by mum and daughter design combo Kathie and Hattie Grimes. The jewellery has a very unique form and delicate. Types of jewellery iclude bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings. The little showroom/ workshop nestles under the eaves of the Grade 11 listed shop on the first floor. Downstairs is the chocolatier part of the shop with a wide wide range of traditional sweets. My favourite are the chocolate farmyard including a milk chocolate owl, a white chocolate sheep, a white chocolate green frog, a milk hedge hog, two white chocolate pink pigs and two mice, one milk and one white. Soooo sweet! Totally awesome! P.s. if you can't get to the shop you can order online - don't miss it!
