We retained the services of Danielle Snead with the Livesay and Myers team around two years ago…read more At that time our family was in a tough situation with one of our children forced into an unsafe situation. Thanks to Danielle and her paralegal Ashley's work ethic, dedication, and legal aptitude we now have a whole family again with no external connections and we are finally at peace. There are not enough words to describe how professional, considerate, and most importantly accurate the legal services Danielle and Ashley provided. Danielle even considered our budget and refused to engage in legal back and forth with a dodgy local lawyer. She was focused on legal protecting our family at the lowest cost possible. If you want to be represented by a professional who will stand for your rights and not play lawyer payday games, Danielle is more than capable. If the rest of the Livesay and Myers firm are as astute as her you will be in good hands. OF NOTE: My family and I have been in a legal battle with a child abuser for more than 12 years now. I have been through three lawyers before Danielle. Even with child abuse no case is a "slam dunk", "open and shut", "easy win", etc... We have learned over these years LAWYERS really do make a difference in the court room. However, the judge's mental capacity and mood at the hearing plays a big part. So if a lawyer cannot win a (in your perception) easy case it may not be because they are only out for your money.

In the document review, Ms. Sizer indicated that I should file a specific document related to a trust. My brother would need to sign this document. Since he was coming into the area from out of town, I emailed Ms. Sizer to ask her to send me the document for his signature. I finally got a response from Ms. Sizer after three emails and three phone discussions with her staff over about two weeks. This was part of her response, "As a solo practitioner, I am not able to prepare and provide documents on demand. I give each matter the due diligence it requires and address matters in turn so that every client receives careful and timely attention. Because this approach does not always align with timelines a client may wish to set, I believe it is best to conclude my representation so that you may continue with other counsel who can meet your needs going forward." If Ms. Sizer had responded promptly, this could have been avoided. If she needed more time, she could have let me know. Instead, she chose to remain silent. I have been a practicing attorney for thirty-five years. I hope that she learns that client communication is important.
