About a month ago, I got a hair cut there. Like all haircuts, I gave the stylist specific instructions on how exactly I like my hair cut and about my hair. This last time she did so so, She cut a little too short on top close to my crown and left much too long on the front especially the right side of my head, considering I comb from left to right. Anyhow, I came back again last week after letting it grow out. I scheduled an appointment with Suprani S, the HEADLINER stylist. When I came and checked in she was just sitting at her station playing with her phone. About 10 minutes after I checked in she finally waved me to come over. When I sat down, she asked me how I like it and I told her every details about my hair, being fine and straight and I comb from left to right and show her my parting line. I also told her what happened the last time. Lastly, I told her I needed to clean up all around, make it a lot shorter especially in the back, I'd like to have it as close as can be from the bottom then gradually a longer on top. I asked her to not touch the top of my head close to the crown because it was already too short, but I do need about 1/2 inch elsewhere on top. She smiled and confirmed all my specifics. I also asked if she only uses scissors instead of buzzer. I told her I don't want your conventional barber cut, so please don't use the buzzer. She said ok. 5 minutes in to the cut, she clipped here and there, very odd. It wasn't like she's working at one section at a time. Then suddenly, she said "you have a bald spot back here". I said what? she showed it to me with her mirror. She then said, I haven't touched it back there. I remember she did, I watched everything. But ok, I can't do anything about it now, maybe she'll salvage it. So I thought. She continued on her hopping all over, cut a little here and a little there. Then she pulled out a buzzer and start clipping all around despite having told her I did not want that. She then pulled out a hot steamed towel, and wrapped it on my head. She pressed it down and removed it, and then she grabbed a white jar. I assumed it was some kind of hair mud or clay, so I asked her right away if she was done cutting my hair. She said yes, and she said "I'm about to put some products to style your hair". I said why? This is not a completed hair cut. I was cringing and shocked at the way my hair look and she said it's done. I thought to myself what is going on here. It was too unbelievable as I witnessed and looking at my hair, the finished product. She acted surprised and then said would you like me to use a clipper? are you kidding me right now? I told her my hair looks horrific, and I needed it fixed. She left me and then later returned and said her manager will be with me. Of course, surprised? her next appointment was waiting so she had to brush me aside. I sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes so I came up and asked the receptionist the where about is the manager. she pointed at him, Freddy, who was cutting another customer's hair. He then, looked at me but never came over.. You would think that as a manager, even though you are busy, you have a crisis with a very unhappy customer, you should come over and introduce yourself and say something to rectify the situation. Nope, he ignored me completely. I sat there for another 5 minutes, which is now about 6 ish and I have a dinner engagement. So I asked the reception to have him call me. He didn't call me until after 8pm and left a message saying there's a ticket open. Your stylist messed up my hair and all you're concerned about is a ticket open? The next day I called and asked to talk to a real manager, the general manager, and I was told to leave a message for Nicole who's supposed to be the District manager, but I never heard from her either. NEVER AGAIN! The time I lost, the pure horrific experience, the botched up hair CHOP, and just a huge waste of time, the aggravation.
