Kahlua having a good day at the park
Christina J.

Love that there is a lot of big trees because the dogs have a lot of shade to rest in. The big dog side is very big and has a lot of room for the dogs to run and play. The dog park is very clean . Wish the water for the dogs was inside the park.

This place was ok... Well... more sad than ok. Unsteady grounds no water fountain for the dogs the small section is REALLY small There is a cleaner dog part in the area... go there...

Nice size dog park. It has two sections one for large dogs and one for small dogs. There are drinking fountains and bags to clean up ''messes". Both areas have security doors at the entrance. There are bathrooms for us humans too. Both areas have shade, grass and benches. The dog park is located in a large park so there's something for everyone.

Beautiful dog park! Lots of trees and shade... which is a HUGE plus. I like that the park is pretty long in shape... it's good for those dogs that like the stretch their legs and run it out. It's well kept and taken care of. It has a cool water fountain that has a lower spout for dogs. I only wish that it was located INSIDE the gate. If you want to take your dog to the drinking fountain, you have to leash your dog, go out, get water, then come back in. Not a big deal... just less convenient than it could be. Overall... great dog park.

Plenty of green grass, lots of space to play and run. People are actually pretty good about picking up poop. Suprsising at some places.

Checked out the big dog side, and it had some "bare spots" and could use some work.

Pretty solid dog park in a quaint area. I was able to walk along the track to get some movement in…read moreas my dog played with others. The land is large and split into two sections. One side for small dogs below 25lb and the other side for large dogs 25lb and above or 18 inches tall I believe. Around the dog park is also a play ground to the corner, there are also some public restrooms, and a large patch of grass area. There are plenty of poop bags around the park and lots of parking spaces both in the lot and on the street. After the dog park, I took my pup for a run around the neighborhood and there was a trail nearby but it got dark so I didn't explore it too much. Nicely paved roads all around the area if you want to take a stroll. The area is overall quiet and clean. The dog park gets pretty empty once the sun sets because there's not much light at the park and it gets a bit chilly so try to come before then. I came here at least 3 times and of all those times, this place is packed with lovely fur babies! Overall, great dog park.

Initially, I was hesitant about taking our pugs to a dog park, but I mellowed out after the first visit. We had zero issues on this visit, and it seemed people were good about controlling their dogs and picking up after them. Our pups had a blast running around and playing with the other dogs. On a second visit, a male arrived with a dog and walking it on-leash. At first, I wondered why the dog was on a leash because the rules indicate the dogs need to be off-leash. Several minutes later, the male removed the leash, and the dog began to charge other dogs including ours. Since the male had the dog on a leash, the male clearly knew his dog was aggressive. After making immediate suggestions to the male to secure his dog, there were no further problems. However, it was somewhat traumatic for one of our pugs that was attacked. Just a reminder that some dogs, regardless of size with irresponsible owners, can be aggressive.

If you're looking for a little slice of doggy heaven without the overwhelming crowds, Griffin Dog…read morePark is a hidden gem! It's on the smaller side, but don't let that fool you. There's still plenty of room for your pup to zoom, sniff, and unleash all that pent-up energy. My dog had a blast running around the grassy area, and even the gravel paths got a few happy tail wags. There are a few fun playground-style features for dogs to climb or jump. Bonus points for the shaded benches, which are perfect for us humans who are just there to admire the chaos. It's not a huge, fancy park, but it's clean, well-kept, and definitely pup-approved. If you're nearby and your dog needs a quick adventure, this is the spot. Just bring water, some poop bags, and let the tail-wagging begin!

This park located in the eastern part of Corona not too far from McKinley has been closed for a…read morevery long time but is now partially renovated and open for all to use. It is perched on top of a small, picturesque, rocky knoll, with a view that is stellar and invigorating, as long as you choose to ignore the insanity of the 91 freeway down below. Once you arrive at the top, it is quite peaceful and quiet. This park is still in its early infancy of re-opening, the City of Corona having just celebrated the re-opening in late August 2021. It is a wonderful little getaway within the community, a place to wind down, enjoy a jog, hike, or just park and watch the sunset. There are a few picnic tables and a little, grassy dog park, fully enclosed and separated into two sections, one for small dogs, another for large dogs. You will find substantial parking areas as you drive up to the top. To reach the dog park, park at the top. You must be willing to walk a bit further, but on a well paved path. For handicapped, the path is wheelchair friendly. There are also railings along the path from the parking lot to the dog park. There is no shade at this time, the trees are too young. The cement picnic tables are exposed to the elements (no shade covering), but are quite sturdy. Landscaping is obviously unfinished and I did not observe any restroom facilities or water fountains for dogs or humans. The gates are closed at sunset, at which time you will be reminded by park employees to move your car. But if you decide to park on the street below, i.e. Griffin Way, and hike up the hill (pant-pant-cough-cough), there are no restrictions to when you must leave. There is limited lighting, mostly around the picnic area and dog park. This is a nice little addition to our community, well maintained, and welcomed enthusiastically.
